I think there needs to be two more rules. People on this board are either one of two extremes. Devoid of all human emotions, or constantly PMS'ing ( You know who you are fellas). Everything is blown out of proportion. Hence all posts with sarcasm must be tagged. <sarcasm> This post rules </sarcasm> . The second rule must be that all fights on the board that go longer then 4 pages must be settled physically between the two parties in feats of strength and airing of grevences. The location of the fight must be determined by 6 page or more thead about where is the best place to have the fight.

Wow, man. You just don't get it. Selective humor is what I'm all about. Try reading any of my posts in other threads. And I agree... there is a place for serious threads. And if you bothered to read anything I wrote in that thread about your friend, you'd see what my complaint was, and it wasn't about "seriouis" posts. But I guess asking you to actually read what other people have written is asking too much. Because if you DID actually READ other posts, you'd see there are plenty of people who think you're a complete tool. At least I'm not asking for you to be banned from the site. I have nothing against you, or your posting here, hifi. I just take issue with some of the threads you've started, which I have explained in each one... so I'm not sure where this personal vendetta you have against me is coming from. There are plenty of fans of other teams that come around and engage in meaningful, productive yap/debate. You just don't happen to be one of them. Wow! I can't believe I am this late getting to this post and I still get to say this . . . (ahem) . . . . BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE!!! Buffalo Hoya -- 1000 hiFiGator -- 0

This thread works both as a list of rules and a demonstration of how they apply. Brilliant. It's like Congress, an admin agency, and a federal court all rolled into one! HAHAHA--you know, I was going to post exactly that, but then decided to ignore the lawyer in me. Glad to see you make up for it, Coast!

And you will never forget the name of....Goldust. Dustin is down here from my neck of the woods. His ex-wife Terri Runnels lives about 20 minutes from me. I am not sure exactly where Dustin lives now but I can tell you he was not very thrilled with the "Goldust" schtick. We ran into him at a pool hall about 6 months ago or so. He was with Barry Windham and they ended up getting kicked out after some altercation. We had already left but apparently he didn't take kindly to some of the Goldust references.

Guess what? I don't care. I've ran into people at the pool too. You don't know them but they are super cool. Now lets fight!!!! And you will never forget the name of....Goldust. Thrilled or not, that gimmick got him more of a response in the then wwf than any other gimmick. His father is also "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes.
I used to go and see Barry and Dusty and Hacksaw Butch Reed and many others in the old West Palm Beach Auditorium.
That just made me feel old!

After 113 posts on this board (and by the way, how the heck does a Florida fan amass 113 posts on this board in a little over a month? More importantly--why?), you should know that NOTHING Drums says makes sense. I've known the guy for years. I've lived with him on three separate occassions. His nonsensical ramblings, like fine wine, only get better with age.

And that just made me feel nostalgic, having been born and raised in West Palm Beach. Saw my first ever college basketball game there sometime in the early 90s...Miami vs. GW ironically enough (**NOTE: This was before the school changed their name to WG)...ah the Constantin Popa era. Why Miami was playing a Classic in WPB is beyond me. Real sad stuff going by that complex these days...the leeky teepee is now an HQ for Jehova's Witness or something--and it's some hideous pink/orange/salmon color, and Municipal Stadium is a Home Depot. For a long time they still hadn't torn down the foul poles, I haven't been by in a while so I couldn't tell you if they're still there. Now that I think about it, that place really was made for a regional wrestling circuit event.

As long as we are being "nostalgic," a good buddy of mine and I went down to West Palm Beach for a bankruptcy auction when Palm Beach Jai-Alai went under. He bought the phone system but we also got a bunch of old cestas that were hanging on the wall. As an amateur Jai-Alai player, I hate seeing all these places going under. Does anyone know if any of the Conneticut frontons are still open? Down our way, Orlando, Ocala, Ft. Lauderdale and Miami are the only old frontons still open. Daytona Beach, West Palm, Big Bend (Tallahassee) and Tampa have all shut down. Ironically a new fronton did open a bit north of here, but I think they are only running the bare bones minimum to legally run a poker room. I don't think they make a penny on Jai-Alai.

Yup, this thread has officially jumped the shark.

See? The system works.

I also don't care about West Palm Beach. If I did, I'd be all hey look at me, I'm West Palm Beach, I'm cool. Most people don't think I'm cool but I'm cool, because I'm West Plam Beach.

Jai-Alai is more scripted than WWE! That's one of the biggest piles of crap around. Naysayers are always saying that Jai-Alai is "rigged." In almost every case that is total fabrication. But there are times when someone will try a little harder. Some of the guys like each other, and some of them don't. If one of their friends is at game point and they don't have any points, they might not try as hard and if someone they don't like is at game point they might try a little harder but that is not what most people mean when they say "rigged." I like all the ridiculous rubbish like they "write the numbers on the pelota (ball) that they want to win the point or the game.

I KNEW that would work.
I do remember going to the origin of your phone system as a kid and seeing the guys make some amazing plays and then drop the simplest of balls, pelotas etc.

Man its been a while since i last went to the Dania Beach Jai-alai (i'm assuming its still open, although i'm sure the new Hard Rock Casino a few miles away has taken away much of its business). My dad used to love taking us there as kids to watch matches and place bets. Is that exclusively a florida thing, or do they have it elsewhere?
