Totally random question, but figured someone around here may know.
So EA Sports now owns the exclusive rights to use ESPN logos and personalities with their sports games. I'm sure they're going to make good use of that for March Madness '07 and NBA Live '07 ('cause '06 certainly sucks compared to NBA 2k6).
But now that Madden is over at NBC, are they done with him? Or will they choose to avoid using ESPN for their signature game? I can't imagine they'll use both...
As much as I love Kornheiser and can't stand to hear Madden's voice, I'd rather have Madden "in the game" than Tirico and Theisman.

On Madden, I have no idea what EA will do, but I know what my company would say -- it would take a tremendous amount of advertising to inform the casual consumer/parents that the "Madden" enterprise is now "ESPN" and it simply isn't worth it.
I expect it to be Madden for a long time.
