In the fall of 1969, all of the dorms, even East Campus, i.e. Loyola, where I lived had weekly maid service. It consisted of a room cleaning (dust and vaccum), fresh linens and bed change, and fesh towels.

Yes, during my years of 62-66, we had maid service. Many students were often awaken with the tones of "change day."

I had maid service in my grad school in Britain. It was excellent! Didn't have to take out the trash, change my sheets, vacumn. I say bring it to the Hilltop! ;D

Screw the Hilltop - someone bring it to my apartment here in Raleigh.

When my dad was at Marquette, the boys dorms had maid and laundry services.
My mom angrily verify that the girls dorms were left to fend for themselves.

I will verify that they did not have it in Village A A202 in 2000, nor at 3606 St in 1999, nor in Henle 20 in 1998.

I will verify that they did not have it in Village A A202 in 2000, nor at 3606 S St in 1999, nor in Henle 20 in 1998. Yeah, but they didn't need it. Which was worst? Feel free to include Harbin 621 (maybe?)

One of our former OOC opponents, Davidson, offers maid service to all students on campus.

One believes 3606 S takes the prize, but I was not around for that whole year, so I cannot comment. I think the answer depends on whether we are talking about the entire domicile or simply one room within the domicile. For my money, the Quatro/FormerHoya bedroom in Village A may be the most disgusting space I have ever encountered.

Besides, Yayo would do penance cleaning every time he got drunk. I think I agree on the A202 call. When vomit can go undiscovered (and unclaimed) for an undetermined amount of time, you've got a winner.

Village C West 539 definitely did not have it. Which sucks when you live with a 6'2, 240 baseball player that comes in from practice and just throws his sweaty clothes on the ground.
Village B 35 lacked it as well. Same for Copley G-19, at least by the time I got there in the Fall of 1998.
Suprisingly, 3619 Prospect Street, NW--an endowment house--did have it, thanks to a particularly industrious roommate that did most of the dirty work. Often as the rest of us sat there and watched. The best had to be when, in a fit of cleaning fury, he cleaned everything off the coffee table to throw it out, and we stopped him and said, "Uh, dude, that's TODAY's mail."
You know, I mock, yet I've become that guy. *Sigh.*

I recall maid service my freshman year- '71-72.
Do not recall it the next two years when I lived in New South. I think you went to the laundry room at designated times for clean sheets.
