Yesterday I was pretty down about the Hoyas big loss at Holy Cross. When I woke up today and saw the calendar date, the miniscule importance of a football game fell into perspective.
I hope you'll all join me in remembering Joe Eacobacci today - a great guy who was taken from his family, friends and loved ones too soon.

I woke up Sunday and turned on the TV at the exact time they read off Joe's name and showed his picture. It completely caught me off guard and took the wind out of me. I couldn't believe it has been four years. I hope the city can find a proper way to honor Joe and everyone else who lost their lives at ground zero - they deserve it.

we turn to sports for joy and excitement and there are winners or losers.. but you all are really right... life does need to put things in true perspective sometime.. work hard every day but also have fun ...and dont sweat the small stuff.. as we never know what tommarrow brings... alot of hoyas were lost that day in new york and dc.. lets remember them by living.. and helping others... and enjoying what small things we have that are really so large.. like family and friends and fellow hoyas.. go hoyas.. remmeber all hoyas..
