It might be cool to have the chat room set up again. That worked well last time. Most student posters won't be around this afternoon. We'll be at the field hockey game.

I think its hysterical that these guys still don't have a clue when they are still onair on the internet feed even if they are not on air on the standard radio waves....

Why does he keep having to ask Mike if he is still there?

The defense had one play out of 13 that could be considered satisfactory. They just got worked over pretty good.

I think I just threw up a bit in my mouth reading this thread.
Where's the D? Is HC really that good that they can move the ball at will, or are the Hoyas not as good as they played last week against Bucknell?

Offense had the ball 7:00 in the first half. Think about that.
42-0, 4th.

Duquesne beats PL favorite Fordham. Looks like that's a loss too.... Lafayette beating Richmond late and Colgate beat Umass.... Going to be a long season unless Cross is a LOT better than we thought.

I was at HC today. It was bad, guys...very bad. The Hoyas were outclassed in every phase of the game. No offense, no defense, special teams were bad too. If this is representative of the season to come, we're looking at a very, very long year.

One thing I will say...Holy Cross has a great fan base and a really family-friendly atmosphere. In terms of things learned from the game, I'd say it'd be nice if some day we could have community and alumni support like they do. It was really nice to see old timers wearing worn class rings with purple stones in them and cheering their hearts out for their team - it was sort of like something I'd expect from Harvard, Yale or another school where alums take real pride in their alma mater...it's just too bad the Hoyas had to be the victims...

I remember my father's class ring with the purple stones, as he was a Holy Cross alumnus.
