Will the PL prospectus next year be trumpeting Holy Cross's manhandling by Delaware? Because, if not, I'm not sure why the absence of A-10 schools from GU's schedule is a matter of note.
Interestingly, if youscroll down to the Holy Cross blurb, the only schedule comment is that the Crusaders will face 3 Ivies in 2005. Seems like one could have metioned the two Ivies on GU's 2005 schedule in the Hoyas's blurb, rather than seize upon the column space to get a red-headed-stepchild style dig in on the Hoyas. But then again, what do I know?

The best revenge (the only revenge) is winning. I have a hunch about 2005. Bucknell (the opener) is replacing 12 starters this season. Holy Cross is beatable. Winning one would be a nice start. Returning home to play an Ivy team at 2-0 would be phenomenal, but not impossible to imagine.

LBPop, you are right on the money. Win, and everything else takes care of itself. Beat Bucknell, HC and Brown ( possible, if not probable) and the fans will come out, the negativity will end, etc. Just win baby. (that's obviously purloined from someone else)

I just heard an interesting theory on how the 12th game could hurt the Big East in football - in that teams would have to find 5 non-conference games.
The guy positing this said this could speed up the Big East implosion that leads to a no-football (commonly referred to as hoops-only conference) unless there's some way to add some teams in football.
