Bowden mentioned him in his pre-spring news conference. His name is Jermaine Martin and he's from SC apparently. He's enrolled in spring classes at Clemson and is trying to walk on for football.
Update: I'm hearing now there's an eligibility issue.

I would think there would be. If you move to a "higher" level school, you have to sit out a year.
Well, that's my understanding anyway.

The spring practice article today in The State makes that clear about the eligibility issues. When it was first breaking yesterday on the Clemson boards there was incomplete info so people didn't know what was going on and I daresay no one had ever heard of a I-AA to I-A transfer recently anywhere around here so most people weren't sure if the rule was the same. He is not eligible to play next season.
