The weight room has been moved into Yates. It is caged into the far two tennis courts. Its got rubber floors and the whole nine yards. They plan on putting up walls for it soon. Actually looks like a legit college programs weight room now. It’s also nice to have closer access to the other equipment and bball courts. It has a sort of muscle beach feel with "average people" looking in at the beasts working out. Haha. It’s a nice step forward for the program.

yeah, I noticed that-it definately makes me jealous of the varsity team's weight room-it just makes the equipment for us "normal people" look that much more pitiful. And I was so excited to see a free bar bench in Yates until I realized that it was for the varsity teams...

Temporary move. Necessary because of the state of the old room- why put a weight room on the second floor? Replacement will be housed in the MSF...eventually.

Yes, the football weightroom in Yates is only temporary because the new MSF will feature the new weightroom. Construction won't start on that until after the 2005 football season has finished.
