Do you know if that will include all of phase 1a? And if so, do you know specifically what that would entail? I know that there are those that would challenge what I am about to say, but I truly believe that the caliber of recruits would jump considerably. Washington DC, GU- one of the greatest universities in the world, a very competitive league with class members...what more could a young man (and his family) want.
Now to really jump ahead, do you know the time frame and what is necessary to finish the facility in the last phase? Lastly, are there any new renditions of the stadium to be seen? Thanks "Knowledge" for the insight.

For next fall, I'm pretty sure it includes infrastructure work (also tied in with the infrastucture for the new business building), and a new field surface (FieldTurf or SprinTurf). Not sure about seating, but it may include the visitors' side seating.

I think the key is that for each phase, they need to have the money before moving forward on construction. Hopefully the beginning of construction can galvanize fundraising efforts and results to build the momentum of the project.

I could not possibly agree more about the impact that the beginning of construction will have on recruits AND the players. Some of the upper classmen on the team were lured with the promise of the facility and, quite naturally, have become a bit skeptical. Football is such an emotional game that I can foresee these guys actually finding that additional 10% effort referred to in that time worn cliche' (that I could never buy into when I was playing) when they see the first phase going up.
Recruits are coming in this weekend and I'm sure they will hear all about it. Thanks for the update.
