People, people, people...
Someone said that, "in order to succeed you must fail first..." Now I'm sure people will want to say, but hey we've lost for five years now, don't you think we can start succeeding now? Of course, but there are many other key elements to a successful program that most people outside of that program cannot see, that need to come to fruition before the people from the outside can begin to see the success. So, when I say this, trust me I know...This team is on its way. It may not seem like it at 2-7 but it is. Have faith and come watch the Hoyas against Holy Cross....Great game tomorrow as well.

I can appreciate true optimisim in the face of obvious disaster. However, Dr. Phil's suggestion reflects the same attitude held by the public in October 1929! Don't worry--be happy--Hold your stock! There is nothing "inside" the program which is not showing through. The "players' coach" reputation is long gone just as the "body should follow". I wish the team all the best for tomorrow's game. Davidson is non-conference and Holy Cross is as big a disaster as Georgetown. These games represent the "best chance" for a 4-7 season? How sad.
