Being a partially blind optimist, I'm thinking that we might see a special effort this Saturday. I've got to believe two things: 1) These kids were embarrassed last week; 2) Even though they don't dare say it, these kids realize that nobody expects them to be in this game for more than ten minutes. This can be a recipe for a loose, but angry bunch of football players. A victory is really out of the question, but this team has a chance to make themselves and their fans proud this week. Dare we hope?

Aaaaaaaaaaaah! NO GU needs to be able to score to win. They're not going to be able to move the ball and more importantly score against one of the best defenses in the nation (#1 in the PL).

If anyone else hasn't noticed, these guys make some really good plays when we don't expect them to, and lose easy plays the rest of us take for granted. I know they are going to make the effort and we are going to score against Lehigh. I agree that victory is most likely out of grasp but I think they are at least going to give us something POSITIVE to talk about.

"It's easy to have faith in yourself and have discipline when you're a winner, when you're number one. What you've got to have is faith and discipline when you're not yet a winner."
"I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is the moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle-victorious." - Vince Lombardi
