I saw an article in The Hoya that some GU students are selling "Hoya Bands," which are a take off on the Lance Armstrong LIVE STRONG bracelets, but have a Georgetown slogan on them. The profits are going to support the athletic department. Anyone know where someone outside the DC area can get one of these? For those interested in the article itself, here's the link: www.thehoya.com/sports/101904/sports2.cfm

You can order Hoyabands online at www.hoyabands.com and they ship where you are. For those of you here, they had a table in Red Square.

Thanks for the link. Oh, as for your signature, it's "Sons of Georgetown, alma mater..." Uh, that might be the original 1894 version, but we've gone co-ed since then. I remember the "Hail" version myself.

Uh, that might be the original 1894 version, but we've gone co-ed since then. You don't change songs for PC. It's still "Swift Potomac's lovely "daughter", isn't it? Or should we call it "Diverse Potomac's inclusive offspring?"
