I just moved back to the USA from a foreign country and am living in VA. I started at nose guard on the 78 team that went 7-1. I was benched, for bad conduct reasons, for the 1st half of the game we lost to St. John's in NY...it was a close game...1 point spread I think...the coaches finally put me in late in the game...too little too late. If I has started, we would have gone 8-0 that year. My apologies to all of my then teammates, especially Captain Zimmerman who, along with Captain Sitz and Clayton Wagner, deserved an undefeated season. I felt responsible for that loss for a long time and didn't return to play after sophmore year due to the shame surrounding it. Not having been near campus for 20 years, I went to the Lafyette game last week and enjoyed it. I didn't see a soul that I knew, but saw on the web later that Federico and Coakley (82) were hanging-out at some party afterwards. I remember those two guys...tough guys both, pound for pound...but, except for maybe Zimmerman (the toughest kid on that team), nobody on the 78 team hit harder than the Boston Bad Ass, yours truly. How about an invite to some football parties? stevenkurker@msn.com
