My guess is they forgo designating a starter right now and have all three QB's take snaps nearly evenly againsts St. F's. Since the game will be a blowout (SF is the worst team in 1 AA) they can afford this option.

what bothers me , is the old saying "Any Given Sunday". Lets hope that doesn"t apply since we play on Saturday. WE need the wins. Win and "THEY WILL COME" I would like to see our football program, rival Basketballs previous status. Stadium built and elevated status for the HOYAS. The players and coaches are certainly giving their blood sweat and tears. What ever coach U does it will be the right move for the HOYAS. go HOYAS. see you Saturday.

Hey hoyaz.......I didn't think we were in any position to speak about any game in terms of a blowout. Easy big guy!

We will beat St. Francis by at least 40. A 40 point win would mean we played the worst game we could possibly play and St. F's played out of their minds. My high school team could beat St. F's, and they arent even a top 20 high school team in Rhode Island.

A couple of comments/questions. First, I have also read the message boards that say St. Francis is horrible, but I haven't seen details. Sure they won only one game last year, but they're returning a bunch of starters and after all, if you had seen the Hoyas' last game last year (I did) you wouldn't have been impressed with them either. So, does anyone know any particulars about St. Francis?
As for QB, I have seen two scrimmages and there's not a lot of separation among the three to contenders. It will likely come down to the comfort level that Coach Uzelac has with how they lead his offense.
One last thing--there's a lot of talk (justified) about the offense with the new OC, QB competition and RB competition. Don't forget the benefits of having Coach Benson freed up to concentrate on the Defense. Those kids are really flying around and making some plays. Plus, my impression is that there is some depth at several positions. Saturday can't come soon enough.
