From Rivals:
Five-star prospect Hollis Thompson knew all he needed to know. The 6-foot-6, 180-pound small forward from Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola is off the board and headed to Georgetown.

Could we change the wording of this thread to say that he committed to Georgetown? Almost had a heart attack waiting for the page to load!
Great job, JT3 and staff! Welcome to the Hilltop, Hollis!

At least one five star recruit in four straight classes. Just amazing.

From all that I've read, this is a huge commit, especially being the first of a limited number for 09. Can one of the recruiting gurus give a quick description of Hollis's strengths/weaknesses? What's he good at and what's he need to improve/work on?

Hollis is a lanky, 6'6-6'8 scoring forward. He can play the 2 or 3. Really more of a three, who needs to improve his handle. Can score from anywhere. A poor man's Reggie, according to some.
