American does not look that good at all, they are struggling to find wins
And it seems pretty obvious by now that we took Bill and Mary's best shot, its all down hill from there

#1 UCLA down 36-25 to #11 Michigan State at halftime. MSU might jump us if they win, but UCLA is going to lose, its going to be now without Collison

Jump us? are you serious? I wouldn't put it past the idiots who vote in those polls, but that would be completely insane. Even though they would be beating one of the #1 ranked teams I dont think the voters would have them leapfrog any undefeated top 5 teams.
Also, there's a lot of time left in this game, and UCLA tends to find a way to win no matter how ugly it is, so we'll see what happens.

Still don't like UCLA's offense as I mentioned a few weeks back. Even when Collinson comes back there is not enough structure there. And if there isn't much structure on o your team better at least have a bunch of explosive scorers who could put up numbers in a fast pace one-on-one type of contest. The Bruins have none of that. And they still can't shoot either.
Oh, and no matter how sound he is Love is going to get a lot of his shots blocked by tall, athletic big men because Love doesn't have much lift and he's closer to 6'8 than 6'10.

Don't look now, but St. Mary's leads Oregon by 10+ with seconds to play. Reda Rhalimi is a DNP or is no longer eligible.

Oh man, that last 3 w/ 12 seconds left was brutal. With 12 seconds left, you don't draw up a play that results in an airball.
I love our Wallace.

It was a gutty win for UCLA, but they were lucky not to be down by 20 at halftime. They made something like 4 field goals in the first half. It was very ugly.

Not sure if you watched the Marquette game, but they look completely out of control. A W against OSU by that margin is a great game but it looked like they had never been coached a day in their lives. Good work Crean!

Just a head's up, too, Old Dominion vs UNC in Las Vegas on Friday night. Should be interesting.

Actually, it was 7-29, which was a upgrade from the 4-20 start. I listened to most of the first half driving home from work last night. It was a bricklayer's convention. It would be foolhardy to underestimate the will of this team. They gave up over 50% shooting (something they almost never do), shot poorly themselves (although much better in the second half), and still managed to pull it out thanks in large part to destroying an MSU team on the boards that is almost invariably among the best rebounding teams in the country. And they're still without two of their top six players. In the long run, Collison's injury may be the best thing to have happened to the Bruins, as it allows Russell Westbrook to obtain valuable experience.

Watched part of it. Gotta give props to Love. That guy is the real deal. Personally put most of the MSU front court in foul trouble.

I couldn't have handled MSU getting ranked ahead of us with a signature win like that, though MSU did what it did best. Outside of another Walton acid trip, and the ridiculously pretentious UCLA jerseys highlighting the C for one hundred championships (seriously, is UCLA the Trojans suddenly?), I would love (no pun intended) to face off against them in the FF.
