Being from Monmouth, it's not a joke school. If I recall, they won the play-in game two or three years ago. Not to say Seton Hall will be helping anyone's RPI anyway, but that could maybe be interesting.

Monmouth by 2 with 40 seconds to play. ------ With 15 seconds or so to play, Monmouth takes an easy basket to answer SHU's score on the other end. SHU with the ball, down 2, and 8 seconds to play.

it looks like the rerun of IUPUI at the Flu is on now on MASN (I seem to remember that game was last night - maybe not.) Whether live or taped, IUPUI is up 3 early.

It was played last night, so this is a tape delay.

I watched that Michigan game. They are young but play good team ball. I think they'll be a good early season test. Brown is coached by Jim Robinson, another in a long line of Carril disciples. Former Princeton player and a long time assistant for Carmody at Northwestern. Couple that with Beilein at the helm and i suspect that Michigan will be well prepared for our game.

Princeton now up by 7 with under 8 to play. Central Connecticut was a tournament team last season. ------------------- Princeton ahead by 2 with 40 seconds to play... Sydney wisely calls timeout. Princeton turns it over coming out the timeout, and CCSU misses two shots to win or tie (can't tell from Gametracker)... Tigers win... Tigers win... Tigers win.
The Tigers were led by sophomore Zach Finlay, who scored 22 points.

Coach Thompson was at Jadwin Gym today, surprising Coach Johnson. Princeton now up by 7 with under 8 to play. So both GU and Michigan used the scheduling startegy of starting with a lower tier team with a similar offense to their first quality opponent. Michigan plays Brown, and William and Mary plays a Beilein style offense.

Congrats Sydney on your first of many victories. Nice to hear that JT3 took the time to go see SJ's first game.
