I didn't even know the Hartford game had that many people.
Still 11, 000 plus for an opener against William & Mary isn't too bad.

Is anyone else a little upset that Jon is only shooting 80% from behind the arc? I mean come on ...

The article makes no mention of how deep the bench is, or how many combinations we can run. Wallace, Sapp, Summers, Hibbert, Macklin in the second half?!?!
We ran a demo. This game wasn't close.

Wasn't there one point when we had Sapp, Wallace, Rivers, Wright or Freeman, and Summers?

We ran a demo. This game wasn't close. Were you there? Actually, for 30 of the 40 minutes it was a lot closer than the final score indicates. Our starters had just as much trouble building a lead as our subs and other combinations did.

I really like the 2-3 we played near the end. with roy in the paint, two fast guards (wallace/sapp) at the top and maklin and summer covering the wings... seemed much better then the rotating man coverage we had. i hope the rust gets shaken off fast though. -m

The box score says Wallace took no free throws - I could have SWORN he was the shooter for us when W&M got the technical.. am I imagining things? ETA: Obviously the box score is missing some things b/c it says there WERE NO techs and we all know there were two.

Barker Davis (Wash Times) article now up Hibbert Dominant in Hoyas' OpenerGeorgetown's identity crisis lasted just over 30 minutes.
That's the point at which the Hoyas stopped trying to explore new options against William & Mary today at Verizon Center and reverted to one of last season's primary Final Four formulas.
Turning a two-point game into a laugher in a matter of possessions, preseason All-American Roy Hibbert powered a 19-5 Georgetown stretch run to carry the Hoyas to a 68-53 victory over the Tribe in the season opener for both teams.

Looks like they have a box score up too - including Wallaces' free throws and the 2 techs.
