So we're #5 in both polls, as usual, however, the AP has a better idea of what's going on--at least one voter voted right!

If only this thread had ellipses around the first place vote, it would be such a great thread.

If only this thread had ellipses around the first place vote, it would be such a great thread. Just so you know, the punctuation surrounding "first place vote" in your thread are parentheses. Ellipses are ". . ."

I still love that last line. God, it is so much more fun to be a fan now than it was five years ago.

Ian Rappaport of Birmingham News is the #1 vote. Wow! What a totally inexplicable vote in our favor!! Mr. Rappaport's obviously an astute aficionado of quality hoops and should be congratulated on his meritorious evaluation of the field. Oh wait. Do the Hoyas happen to play a game in Birmingham on the 5th? Bah. I hope they give him nice seats.

Don't quote me on it but I beleive that Tod Rosiak is the Flu's beat writer He is, and a pretty good one. I like our writers, but in a town like Milwaukee, the frequency of updates is much, much higher.

Lowest votes: Paul Klee, Champaign IL News has Hoyas 12th; Dustin Dow, Cincinnati Inquirer has Hoyas 10th. Not that I really care much, but I was curious about who these guys had ahead of us. Amazingly, Klee has Duke ahead of us. Paul Klee: 1 Memphis 2 North Carolina 3 Kansas 4 UCLA 5 Indiana 6 Michigan St. 7 Louisville 8 Washington St. 9 Tennessee 10 Gonzaga 11 Duke 12 Georgetown Dustin Dow 1 Memphis 2 North Carolina 3 UCLA 4 Michigan St. 5 Tennessee 6 Kansas 7 Indiana 8 Washington St. 9 Louisville 10 Georgetown Dick Hoops Weiss, who pretty much knows what he is talking about, has us at 4.
