CBSSports did a quick preview of the game, not much to take away other than the host thinks we have the best backcourt in the country and are the 2nd best team in the Big East behind Pitt.

Thanks for that link, nathan. Someone's pretty high on our boys and the numbers speak for themselves. Chris, keep shooting those open threes with your feet set.

Since I'm too lazy to register for the Utah St board:
"I just was looking there and they are pretty cool, not like the cougar board at all. They aren't on a high horse, saying we are just a blip on their radar. But I was wondering if anybody knew why some of them didn't like Jardine bc of his name?"
Because there's a Syracuse player by the name of Scoop Jardine, and therefore your player is tainted by mere association. That's how bad Scoop Jardine sucks -- two thousand miles and and no real relation (I'm assuming) are not enough to fend off the suckitude that flows from him.

Thanks Nathan. Great link. Rothstein is a VERY bright young man. The Hoya backcourt, Chris, Austin, & Jason, is BY FAR the best backcourt in the country! What can you say when the guy puts in out there like that. He also mentioned that all three guys are shooting better than 45% from THREE on the season. He said that was Staggering! What's not to like about this guy? Where's he been? Just don't let our TEAM see that video!

Funny thing though, I'm not going to the game. I'll be with the football team in Boise State this weekend...I asked my boss why, he said something about me putting a status on my facebook page saying "Hoyaaasssss babbbbyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!" on the night we beat Missouri.....sad

Speak for yourself, SFHoya. Brady Jardine - I've hated you since your days at Twin Falls high school in Idaho and you are going DOWN.

Every game is a "trap game" when you're winning. The question is: how do you keep on winning, no matter who you play? Focus and concentration are often mentioned, for good reason; but, they're generalities. What about specifics?
Here are a few thoughts. The goal is "one stop, one score" on every possession - all game long. Impossible? Perhaps, but it's the right objective.
And that means, on defense, deny your man the ball. On offense, it means break for the basket, over and over again. Most importantly, it means play each possession as if it were the last one in the game.
Good luck Hoyas.

The write-up of the Hoyas by the Utah State beat writer two messages above is the best description of each player I have seen anywhere in the media. Perhaps the WPost should hire this guy!
...as noted above by some of the intrepid sleuths on the board, the USU beat writer is our own daytonahoya31...

Thanks to Daytona and Hick for some great information. Of course, now we know why "Daytona" is so knowledgeable. It's a long way from Daytona to Utah. ;D
Reading about Wesley made me harken back to Charlie Adrion from back in the day. Of course, Charlie had two bad knees and no vertical leap at all, but despite that he was pretty much unstoppable.
This game is going to be a real test against a very, very experienced team (even more experienced than ODU - didn't think that was possible). I just hope we don't sleep on them following that crazy Missouri game and with Temple around the corner.
