Yeah,
I'm not sure if I had mapped out my life at five years old that me ending up living in Utah would've been one of the primary stops....But Salt Lake isn't that bad. Nice city, and the women are underrated....
By the way, haven't converted to mormonism yet, and I'm still very DC at heart.....hahaha

I just hope we don't sleep on them following that crazy Missouri game and with Temple around the corner. Come on. The team knows if it wants an invite to a good bowl it can't afford to sleep on any opponent.

One thing that senior leadership usually brings is the awareness that you cannot let down against anyone.

One thing that senior leadership usually brings is the awareness that you cannot let down against anyone. If these guys didn't learn it against Rutgers and USF (and possibly Ohio), they never will. I think they'll be fired up and ready to go before the home crowd. So far, this team has been one of the most exciting I've seen in recent years.

I think it is still possible to drop a game to a team that appears below our ability without it being a referrendum on our intensity.
I always worry about the games once we get into december. the end of the semester is right around the corner - guys might be worried about exams etc.
add on to that utah state is a decent team. i agree this team has looked more locked in against all opponents this year - just don't want people to think the team has learned nothing if we happen to lose tomorrow.

Hoping someone out there can help me. I am in Denver for the weekend and figured the game would be on ESPN3.com (I know it's on ESPNU). It's not showing as an upcoming game on ESPN3.com. Is it not being shown there? Do I need to go find a bar at 10am? Any help would be appreciated since SFHoya99 seems to be ignoring me.

I was looking at their coaches stats and get the feeling this is going to be an emotional high for his team and so a huge trap game. This is the four hundreth game he has coached and if he wins he will be 300 wins and only 100 losses or 75 percent which is unbelievably good.

TAI WESLEY
(he's made two this year. don't worry, not a 3 point threat)
I wish i had video of his post moves. they are great.
THE SPECTRUM. we are all really proud of our atmosphere. i believe that we will win winning team losing team WELCOME TO THE SPECTRUM wild bill. funny video with tai and wild bill my friend made. maybe it jinxed him, he has shot awful from the line the spectrum at its loudest. We beat nevada when they were ranked 9th, but that was not this time. also a great one. SPECTRUM INTERVIEW VIDEO
good luck tomorrow. I'm looking forward to this game. Too bad i'll miss a big chunk while i drive from eugene to corvallis to watch the civil war game!

I'm big into the psychology of players and am a little scared. On one hand, this is Utah state's LAST chance at a win over a tourney team. On the other hand, this is a less important game for us. I hope our players realize the difference in incentives.

Trap game possible but odds are GT by 9 or so. I think it will be a tough game but we win it relatively easily at the end

For Utah State, this game is basically to them what the 2006 Duke game was to us. A win would change their program significantly for the better, a loss would be disappointing but not at all devastating.

Here is a reason to be nervous: Chris Wright tweeting that he wasn't feeling well last night. #Found the link on the web so can't verify the accuracy... still, not good news.

This game worries me because Utah St plays a very deliberate pace so a blowout is not likely to happen. I could definitely see us struggle if we cannot produce some spacing with the 3. I do think we have a huge advantage that USU does not come East often and hopefully they are out of sync.

From sounds of it--this would be an ideal game to utilize more pressure to force tempo a bit and to create energy/urgency.

Utah state better sure up their 3pt defense if they hope to pull up an upset. They're 300th in the nation in defending the 3 giving up 39.6% shooting from 3. Going to be a good game. Hopefully our guys are ready.
