It matters who you align and associate with. It adds to the enjoyment of going to games when some of your friends attended opposing conference schools, like you see in the Ivies, Big 10, Pac 10, ACC, etc. And, Syracuse has been our biggest rival for over 40 years. So, maybe it doesn’t actually matter at all.

The Big East is a conference of academic misfits. We need the ACC to splinter. I’m sure the quiz bowl team has a problem with their academic peers but, for athletics, and that’s what’s the BE is for, who the F cares?

Poor Elvado. A victim by proxy. I may have gone to a third rate law school but I was taught that when I made an assertion, I supported it with some facts. You never do. Congrats! Elvadoism at its finest. And the answer is because one was a devoted liberal and one was first. More likely because RBG was still on the bench and very involved in the issues of our time and was a very notable public figure til the end while O’Connor had been retired for almost 20 years and not in the public eye at all.

I bet he would have if he had been given a choice. Harley was not a good fit for Georgetown and vice versa. Plus he wouldn’t have wanted input from JT2. He made the right decision in waiting for the UConn job to open up. Hurley and UConn are a great fit. I don’t see how anyone can argue that him going to Georgetown was a better decision for him than him going to UCONN. He was a great fit because he is a great coach and we needed one. And, he seems like the kind of guy who would tell JT to f-off and leave him alone which was another thing we desperately needed.

And we could’ve had Danny Hurley when we chose Patrick Ewing. Never forget… Hurley was never coming here. Never forget… I bet he would have if he had been given a choice.

Things got pretty grim and then managed to get worse.

If we win, it will mark the first time we have been above .500 in conference place since January 2, 2018. Whens the last time we've been 4 games over .500? Jan 26, 2016

Notre Dame is not an awful team! As a matter of fact, I would say we are evenly matched, in the same place as far as development goes. With the coaching—both coaches seem like excellent coaches—I believe both teams can make a run this year. Notre Dame’ coach was definitely disappointed in his team’s performance. Which tells me he has very high expectations for this year. ND is horrible. And, their basketball team is bad, too.

Why? It’s a software update and, in any event, EV’s do not depend on self driving stuff. Tesla has over promised, for sure, but it’s a feature not something that is required for EV’s. Casting this as a Biden/EV failure and not a Musk/Tesla failure is the perfect distillation of Republican intellectual dishonesty. For sure but I’d love to hear any explanation he might have. Not holding my breath

I believe Heath has broken Nikita Mescheriakov’s program record for for hitting the top of the backboard. Did Pat Ewing destroy Heath’s game or was the celebration when he was made eligible last year a bit over done? I feel bad for this guy. Seems like injury and a bad situation has really set him back.

That's not to say that hearing "Let's go Orange" in your own building isn't embarrassing, but he's got to get past that. Also, CapOne is a huge arena(20K seats). You can't fill it exclusively with Georgetown fans. They used to, of course. This was an incredible day but also a total unicorn. It was the last Big East GU/Cuse game and, perhaps given what we thought at the time, the last one ever. And, the Hoyas were playing for the BE regular season championship. It was packed and awesome but there were also a lot of Syracuse people there, too.

One can even see a campaign theme developing. In the Biden America where 80% (I think the percentage is accurate as it now applies to the children of all my friends/acquaintances who are not off to law/med or top 10 MBA schools or in heavy duty computer engineering) of under 35s have no hope of ever owning a new car or a house, the MAGA message becomes the "birght, abundant, clean fossil future" versus the "dismal and ever more austere Dark Green Age" of the Democrats. They can even put up ads showing future landfills of old EV batteries and pictures of the ugly cement and asphalt factories that will be needed from heavier weghted EVs tearing up our roads in the dark green future, Voting for Trump 2024? Ya think?

1) Support for Transgender sports which undermines the opportunities for their daughters to obtain college scholarships Imagine thinking this is a real issue let alone one that would have any impact whatsoever on a rational election.

You say a lot of dumb things. Tough day for you. Hoyas winning and all. I know. You know, if I didn’t want GU to win, I would have been the biggest Coach Pat Ewing fan in the world, right?

We need one more legit big in the dec/January portal/break whatever you want to call it. I have been saying how important this is if we want to be competitive in Big East play for months. You say a lot of dumb things.

Why do they need to win 7 in a row? If they are a real FF contender, they aren’t starting with a 12 seed and the play in game.

For those not watching...Marquette is REALLY good...maybe they don't win tonight but they will a problem in the BE Wonder what Shaka Smart could have done here instead of Patrick Ewing. What a miss.

American taking us to OT didn't hurt us too much Lol what do you find funny? Our rating went down two spots (180 to 182) after that win so it's literally true that the win did not hurt us much but that it did hurt a bit.
