I love that the kid going to dook lists a favorite class of "wood shop." That should serve him well in Durham. Yea, he should have plenty of tools to play with

The Jordan Classic is this Saturday at 6:30 pm at MSG...both Austin and Chris are playing (though on different teams). No OJ Mayo, so maybe they will get some shots this time around.
Anyone planning on going?

So my buddy just asked me what was wrong with PE Jr's wrist...said he saw him on TV at the Knick's game with his dad and that his wrist was in a cast. Can anyone confirm or refute this? Any insight on what happened? I know he had one of his wrists taped up the latter part of the season.

Even still...I'd HARDLY put Butler and AF in the same class as any Big East program

Katz clocks in with the Hoyas at #7 even assuming Jeff leaves (but Roy stays)...now thats more like it sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=28250717. Georgetown 2006-07 Record: 30-7, 13-3 Why: Jeff Green may leave, and if that happens, the Hoyas lose their core. But if Green comes back, to go along with the ever-developing Roy Hibbert, emerging stars Jonathan Wallace and DaJuan Summers, and shooting guards Austin Freeman and Chris Wright, the Hoyas should be right at the top of the Big East.

I think more pertinent than UMCP is Florida...they all passed up NBA money to come back and it looks like will be paid off for their efforts...a national title AND big money...maybe the only loser in this equation is Noah who has seen his draft stock drop, but he wasn't ever any good anyway

The only reason for the extension is because you can't have a lame duck coach and I don't think our previous AD was really ALL THAT committed to winning per his comments on making the NCAA every year

My response was merely offered up in response to the fact that "It's hard to say that Jeff's shot wasn't falling vs. OSU since he shot 80% from the field on the game."
It's hard to say his shot was on when all he was hitting was lay-ups and put backs...to me that doesn't constitute having an "on" shooting night...that's all...it wasn't a critique merely a statement of fact. I'd love for him to go 8 of 9 with 8 dunks, but I still wouldn't say his shot was falling on a night like that

But not once did he pull the trigger from outside 8 feet.

VERY interesting snippet from Page 2's Chuck Klosterman's Final Four blog today: "[Sidebar: Writer John Feinstein just walked up to Thompson and introduced himself. Thompson barely nodded at him. Have these people never met before? That seems unfathomable to me.]" Guess someone's not up on his history... Some more Georgetown stuff in there as well sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=klosterman/finalfour/day2&sportCat=ncb

huh?! how does jeff staying or going have ANYTHING to do with the athletic department? That's one of the dumbest things I think I've EVER heard and I hope there is some latent sarcasm that is not coming thru here...keeping JT3 on the other hand is a whole different story...but come on jg...you can't really be serious

I was kind of hoping that UNC and UT were going to beat each other up in the Sweet 16...either way, whoever came out of that game was going to beat battered and bloodied and we were going to finish the job
