Got to root for Florida to win, if only to set an example that teams that stick together can achieve their goals. If Jeff is considering coming back and Ohio St. wins, would you want people in his ear saying things like, "look at that, you can have a great season and still be disappointed...just take the money."

I see no shame in rooting for Ohio State. I think it takes the sting out of losing, that the team you lost to turns out to be the eventual champion. I know it helped last year.

I'll probably root for OSU. Can't see them winning this game - UF is just too stacked. Then again, OSU has not been getting much respect all year and they have really managed to play well and pull out the wins. Very impressed with their TEAM effort.
Either way, I know it's kind of lame but I just don't think I have it in me to watch the game. Too much "ahhh, what could have been..."

i hear ya filo. i have watched more college bball this year (non-gtown) than any prior year and us coming so close to the finals is going to make it unbearable to even be a fan of the sport and watch the championship...hopefully next year will be different

I'm rooting for the score board collapse or a fight the stains the title of whoever wins the game.

Ill be there, and i guess ill be rooting for osu. i cant stand noah and i cant stand the florida fans. we think cuse fans are bad, but ive never seen any fans so obnoxious. generally unbearable. id like to see them go home sad, even though i dont think it will happen.

Let's go meteor!
Seriously, it's just disgusting that two schools who consider their basketball programs to be 'B-Teams' (to quote an Ohio State fan) are in the National Championship game.

I usually cheer for the team we lose to as I think it does provide some consolation, but now that I live in Ann Arbor that would be a heresy. Noah or not, go Gators!

If you're gonna lose, you got to lose to the best. Two years in a row.

Thanks to everyone who will be rooting for OSU tomorrow, I think we will need all the fans we can get. For those who aren't, haters are nothing new to Ohio State fans. I'm not sure how anyone can hope for a Noah victory though. Just can't get enough of his sweet dance moves I guess? You guys are the best team we beat all year, and you will be good next year no matter who you lose to the NBA. Congrats on a great season.

Cant root for OSU- they have the worst, most obnoxious fans on Earth. Almost tried to fight me Sat night- and that was a father-son team.
I join St Pete in hoping for a bad accident in the Georgia Mauseleum, er, Dome. Failing that, Florida.

Sucks to hear that YB. I have to pull for tOSU because I am tired of hifigator. Fans like that don't deserve to win titles in any sport.

A friend of mine ran into the Ohio State players in her hotel. They taunted her when they saw her Georgetown gear. Not classy.

i thought of UF bringing another title to gainesville makes me nautious. I think I would have to cutoff all communication with gator friends at that point. As much as I hate Ohio St (last night surpassed the 2003 Fiesta Bowl Theft as reason #1 i hate that school), i guess i'm rooting for them. If your gonna lose, might as well be the eventual champs.

definitely meteor. I was actually thinking the georgia dome just collapses, but a meteor works, too. i figure i can rationalize it out if either team wins - if OSU wins, we lost to the national champion (2 years running - so not sure if that makes it better or worse), if Florida wins, it shows there is value to staying together as a team and not leaving early for the NBA. I thought all of their fans were moderately obnoxious - but I will say they (esp. the Florida fans) put on quite a show for how loud fan support can be, and I wish we had a louder fan base in general.
.... so yeah, meteor. but that failing, I'm kind of going to be cheering for the defense on both ends and hoping noone scores at all.
