DSR needs to average 18.6 pts a game assuming our minimum 33 games we will definitely play. It becomes more realistic assuming we play more than just one game in the BET and NCAAs. If we play the maximum amount of games we can play he would only have to average 15.35 points per game.

If we play the maximum amount of games we can play he would only have to average 15.35 points per game. We have 31 regular season games. I feel like 5 postseason games is a reasonable target. Any idea what he needs if he gets 36 games? Common sense tells me it is 17ppg, which may be tough on this team if we don't punch up the pace. EDIT: 17.06ppg He's so close at this point that it would really help his chances to drop a couple of big games in there. Dropping 3-4 30ppg+ games would make a huge dent.

Another interesting question: where will DSR be on everyone's personal Top Hoyas list? Please state contingencies (e.g. "He needs to make an Elite Eight run or better to make Top 10 for me").
As a starting point, here's what DFW had for his Top 20 during the 2007 season -- so Jeff, Roy, Otto, etc., didn't make it:
1. Patrick Ewing (1981-85) 2. Eric Floyd (1978-82) 3. Reggie Williams (1983-87) 4. Alonzo Mourning (1988-92) 5. Allen Iverson (1994-96) 6. John Duren (1976-80) 7. Craig Shelton (1976-80) 8. Jim Barry (1962-66) 9. Derrick Jackson (1974-78) 10. Mike Sweetney (2000-03) 11. David Wingate (1982-86) 12. Charles Smith (1985-89) 13. Othella Harrington (1992-96) 14. Michael Jackson (1982-86) 15. Mike Laughna (1969-72) 16. Dikembe Mutombo (1988-91) 17. Merlin Wilson (1972-76) 18. Mark Tillmon (1986-90) 19. Bill Martin (1981-85) 20. John Mahnken (1942-43)
(A refresher would be interesting. We're about a decade later -- and players like Green, Hibbert, Freeman, Porter, Wright, DSR, Monroe, etc., could certainly all have a claim. Then again, there's only a little tourney success in there).

Assuming he stays healthy, adds handsomely to his statistics, gets close to 2,000 points, and becomes the all-time leader in 3PFGw, the only thing keeping DSR below other guards like John Duren, David Wingate, and Charles Smith is team success. He needs to lead the team to a BET tourney title and Elite 8+run in NCAAs to cement a Top 10 legacy.

Thanks birdman! Iverson 10th in free throws still somehow hits me. The poor dudes that had to try to guard him. Just unfair.

At halftime of UMES, DSR has made five three pointers to pass both Austin Freeman and Kevin Braswell and move into second place all time with 192. He has a way to go to reach Jonathon Wallace's 240.

DSR's 26 pts (with 3:45 to go) moves him past Big Roy for 16th all time in scoring with 1477... and counting!
DSR Closes with 30 pts.....1481. Next up, #15 Gerald Riley at 1485 then #14 Allen Iverson @ 1539 -- in only two years.
Highest scorer in the JT3 era? #7 overall, Austin Freeman @ 1761
Top Three Scorers JT3 era (including partial years) 1. Austin Freeman 1,761 2. Brandon Bowman 1,548 3. Devauntes S-R 1,481
DSR is averaging 14.2/game career. We have 31 games on the schedule, plus at least 1 BE and (most likely) at least one Post BET game. So 33 (minimum) We have played 6 so far, so 27 games remaining. 27 x 14.2 = 383 Added to 1481 = 1864. That would make him the top scorer of the JT3 era and #5 all time GU, behind:
Top 4 Hoya Scorers all time 1 Eric Floyd 1978-82 2,304 2 Patrick Ewing 1981-85 2,184 3 Reggie Williams 1983-87 2,117 4 Alonzo Mourning 1988-92 2,001
No guarantees of course, but an opportunity to be in the Top 5 All time for Georgetown? Pretty remarkable.

How many rebounds does Hayes have? (Is the horse dead yet? I'm trying) He has 44 this season and 86 in his career. If he makes the all-time charts (Jameel Watkins is 25th at 557) he and the team will have had quite an impressive year.
