This is a team that you stay at home on--and no reason for our guards to "scrape down"--let the bigs handle them and just have to think our frontcourt is superior--so keep them from their strength--which is shooting from deep and wide open. No wide open 3's--play them like ND or Nova.
Wasn't frustrated with start minus one thing--no reason Georgetown should EVER not come up with loose ball and watching Wallace, Jeff, and company bend at waist and not dive on court irked me a little--credit Belmont for scrapping. Let's get it going. Oh CRAP--I was just switched in my market--so relying on you guys to update me until I'm able to get a "look-in".

hey look, we CAN make a 3-pointer! just win baby: fine! cover spread: verrry nice. cover spread and allow starters to rest so as to roll BC: ideal. We all know this game is really about hitting the under...

gosh, why did rivers feel it necessary to help hibbert defensively in the paint? he left his man wide open for a 3 which he nailed. its defensive lapses like that that drive me crazy. stick with the shooter. our big men will be fine by themselves.

As much as I hate to say it, the ACC haters were right when they said that we would definitely have trouble with fouls in the tournament. The Big East refs allow the teams to play physical and that's what we're used to. We have to play a little less physical if we are going to last in the tournament with these kinds of refs. I just hope that we find a way to play less physical but still dominate on the defensive end. That's BS! Refs often are more ticky tack in these type of matchups--once it's big boys taking on each other--they let you play and deeper you advance in tournament--the more they let you -play. Thing that you have to avoid is little things like Jeff trying to take a charge with 2 fouls-you can't take that risk in NCAA tournament--Jared Dudley tried same thing and got his 3rd in opening game at Winston Salem today--he was positioned right but they screwed him. Must adjust to how game is being officiated--and we should see that happen.

Foul Trouble... we need to stop giving them chances to score!
I hope their three guys who have 2 fouls are their good players.
And I was just about to say I was sad Wallace hadn't scored and he did.

The refs are killing us, this is the NCAA's, stop calling that petty bull.

Need to keep up the tough defense. We don't want them to hit a few 3s and keep hanging around. Time to open this up.

Ticket! Ticket! Ticket!
Time for the others to step up with - most likely - Green & Hibbert on the bench for the rest of the liftoff half.
(anyone else listening to the away broadcast? kind of entertaining; they want to complain about georgetown, but respect is getting the better of them)

Our guards HAVE TO STAY AT HOME--and even though I can't see the game--read post where Rivers dropped to scrape down--no reason to do that--STAY AT HOME and make them drive/take 2 point attempts. Geez.

Great 3 by Sapp - even though we're up by 12, this group on the floor scares me. Where's DaJuan?
