Dear Tay: I still miss the mohawk. Dear Kenny: I hope that soon you can contribute more than fouls. Dear rest of the team: Way to run it. Dear commentators: Thanks for observing that Georgetown is a "force to be feared." Dear Rutgers fans: Stick to football. Love, HoyaInsomniac

Aside from the fact we got the win as expected, loved what we got from Macklin and Summers. Some people have been pointing out Mack's ability as a passer in the past, and it was on full display today (he had a bunch of nice looks). Both were efficient offensively in terms of scoring, and I think both have learned not to force things on the offensive end too.
Onto CAA. Gotta keep taking care of business.

does it freak anyone else out that eighties writes out "smile" at the end of most of his messages? I think someone needs to call St. E's and make sure they aren't short a guest...
also i think my newest theoretical "Most Suicidal Moment" is: having a beer with mrs ixer and hoyaeighties at Rhino during a Syracuse game.

Yes Tay, Kenny and the other dude...welcome rest of Hoyas on da flo... The other dude??? How can a Georgetown fan not know who Sead is? Easy, unless you follow the team very closely. The only player with less exposure is Kenny. I'm a season ticket holder, and I knew them only as "the two white guys who never play" until this year. Very impressed with Summers and Macklin. Roy had a solid game after an early turnover or two. Jeff was spotty. Jessie had more rebounds than anyone on the team other than Roy - they were really spread around tonight. Sloppy start, I thought, and sloppy finish after the game was well in hand, but in between - when it mattered - it was excellent, albeit against a team that cannot shoot. At all. Keep it up Hoyas! SH will be tougher, no doubt, but we still should take it.

This was an all around sloppy game. At least we won.

Also, I think that may have been the first time I've seen the RAC on TV - it looked like attendance was low, even when the game was still within reach. Based on this one time, it's hard to imagine it as an intimidating place to play.

We keep the TO's to a minimum (sort of), and we become a force to be reckoned with. Take care of the basketball and we'll keep winning games. The commentators also pointed out that it was not nearly as close a game as the score says. Someday our "two white guys" will leave their mark. You better believe there will be beer spilled all over the place when that happens.

Thoughts:
--ROY! ROY ROY ROY!! Solid game from the 7'2 Experience--too bad he couldn't get that tenth rebound (also, is it that hard to get his height right? The announcers kept calling him 7'3)
--Adrian Hill is my favorite non Georgetown Big East player. The man had on 7 wristbands (3 on the right and 4 on the left--he doubled up on his left wrist), a headband and full lower body spandex. That was amazing.
--Did anyone else notice when the announcers were commenting on how nice Jesse's smile was? Kind of awkward, considering that it was immediately after my girlfriend said the same thing.
--I think the Big Ticket answered those wondering why he was such a high priority for JT3, considering his lack of shooting ability. Those were some ridiculous passes, especially the one to Summers for the dunk.
--The first five minutes were UUUUUUGGGGGLLLLYYYYY.
--The RAC isn't that imposing when no one shows up.

Brasky, getting hoyaeighties and sixer123 together would be comparable to what I imagine would have happened if Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver would have gotten together in Ghostbusters!
It would not have been good.

The ignore button is so great. Everyone else has mrsixer123 on ignore too, right? yes When I put him on ignore, I was no longer ignoring hoyaeighties. How come there's a cap on the number of people we can ignore? The codebase of this board only allows one "ignore" per user at any one time. It's a bug that's been reported to the Proboards forums--Admin

I am suprised Hoyaeighties and Mrsixer have so much time to post, considering their sharp basketball minds must be in high demand around the sports nation.
Go away.
Pretty quiet on the boards tonight. We must have won in a "dominating" fashion (AP terminology).

Maybe a combination of the game not being on TV for everybody and the fact that it was kind of boring, really - although a good kind of boring.
