I don't think it'll have any effect one way or the other, really. I think JT3 will take the guys he's most comfortable with/he thinks could help him the most.

I don't know. A lot of people have expressed the thought that they'd be "surprised if JJ wasn't hired."
Not necessarily because of this, but I wouldn't be. JTIII has Robert Burke, who has DC connections and a rep as a good recruiter, plus he's JTIII's boy and obviously knows the offense/Defense JTIII is likely to install. He's supposedly looking into GW's recruiting assistant, who is well known in DC as well (which seems a bit redundant, so maybe not).
But if that is true, that's the two recruiters, right? (Assuming JTIII is the third person allowed to contact recruits). Jaren's strength seems to be recruiting, so I wonder if he won't get squeezed a bit. Maybe -- although I could see Burke also be a non-recruiting assistant as well, or Jaren.
But basically the thing that makes me think he isn't coming back is he's from the prior group. He's won't be JTIII's boy. It's sometimes an awkward relationship.
I trust JTIII will make the best decision for the program, whatever it may be.

I think the Hoyas4Hoyas guys should get a life.
JTIII is his own man--let hime decide who he wants without any pressure.
I really don't understand what the fascination with JJ is....

If it was real at all, I think they were just a bunch of guys who were Jaren's friends, so I see nothing wrong with them sending a letter endorsing him. Likewise, I'm not sure they "need to get a life," since the latest addition doesn't have anything to do with the people starting the petition -- they merely posted a letter purporting to be from Jaren thanking them and asking them to get behind the new regime. All in all, it sounds pretty classy to me.

Certainly nothing wrong with supporting Jaren---but setting up a low rent website and publicly clamoring for him to get the HC job was tacky and low class.
I know lobbying for different coaches/assistant coaches goes on all the time behind closed doors...but the way the hoyas4hoyas went about supporting Jaren---well, I would be pretty embarassed if I were him.

The whole thing is a hoax. I know some of the players did not sign that letter, and I doubt Jaren even wrote the little bit they have there. It is a joke of a website.

According to WHOIS the site is registered to an Elizabeth Papp (her name doesn't seem to be listed in hoyasonline).
