Going to be nervous but optimistic about Chris and his family's decision. Just wanted to take the temprature of the board prior to 3:30pm eastern tomorrow.

I have faith chris will make the right choice and choose the school with better academics, closer to his home, better city life, and a better chance to win a national title.

Always be confident.
Put me down for a yes, and if it's a no, then the best of luck part still applies.

Man, the jinx potential of this thread is huge.
Hope Chris chooses the Hoyas!

I beleive in the power of self jinx, so I d rather not comment on this.
Although it seems like recruiting has not gone our way in the last month, let's look at the big picture: we have talent in all departments, and our perceived "weakness" at sg (but somebody could emerge THIS season) will be short-term since Austin is coming.
The scholarship limitations are probably influencing some recruit's decisions, who would rather commit now elsewhere rather than wait until the spring for scholarships which may or may not become available. The important thing is we are back on the map of big time recruits and I am confident GU is bound to get more talented players in the future.

Yeah, I have a hard time seeing him commit when we have no scholarships...but who knows.

What's the over/under on the number of users online this afternoon?
I don't think it'll match the Ohio State record from last March, but I think 100+ could be within reach.

I'd have to agree w/ the hoyas that are leaning towards no. Just doesn't make sense w/ the timing and the lack of scholarships. Good luck, Chris. (Good to see we're not bashing him like fans of other area teams).
Edit: Ok, having now read through the new posts. I'm totally confused. You gotta wonder how it must feel to be a recruit. Reading these message boards and seeing how crazy he's making grown men speculate.

The kid isn't a fool...get on the back of the train and ride it all the way.
He's just a kid who has seen the light...

Where is this announcement going to be taking place? I need my roomate to check it for me since I will be in class at the time Wright's High School, St. John's. Hoyareport (the pay site) will, I think, have someone there, and the news will likely be all over the net within 10 minutes of his announcement. So basically, have your roommate check here after 3:30, and he'll be able to fill you in.
