are they ever going to post an officaial roster any where? would it hurt them to put out a program? It'd be nice to know who these other players were.

Thanks for the report, lic, but what did you say? I guess my concentration is not what it used to be, so I had to read your report several times. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Thanks for the list Hoyaboy. (I like how Kenny izzo didn't make the list of Custom Uniform players.) That's because he's our secret weapon. Just wait until he starts next year.

Let me guess... his undeserved nickname is something like "The Machete"? ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Random qusetions after reading the list...maybe someone can fill in the blanks.... Here is a list of some notable players I pulled from MDVarsity "Meyers & Alterman-Will Thomas, Folarin Campbell, Louis Birdsong, Andre Smith(George Mason incoming freshman PG who was VERY good), Marc Egerson, and Octavius Spann Birdsong is supposed to be pretty good as well, right? Is Gist transfering or not after all? Tony Bethel...ahahahahahahahahaha. Where does Miles play now? Niagra? Who's the fella with the funny-spelled name? Is Willie Shaw the Willie Shaw, or another guy?

Tomorrow's matchups look to be pretty interesting --
First game features PE2 and a Jai Lewis-like player against a team featuring Gist and hyped (or, at least, as a UMD frosh can be at this point) UMD frosh Greivis Vasquez.
Second game features UVA player Mamadi Diane, Bethel, Devin Sweetney Trajan Langdon, Tyler, and Dagger against the Tomb's (hopefully with frosh).
Third and fourth games should be blowouts, although it may be interesting to see how Clyde's scores without Roy, who is at the Nike Camp.

Have the incoming frosh surfaced on campus? Anyone know? I think they check in tomorrow. All that means is that they check in on Saturday though. Last year, the frosh played in a KL game, then checked in. They may have to do something for the program they are in during gametime, however, so no guarantees they'll be playing.

Just trying to get that definition down until it makes its formal introduction on UrbanDictionary. ;D In addition to nailing the proper sense of aloofness and over-modesty required in a (possible) TVBP or TVB-anything*, you also contributed a valuable nugget of information**. Too bad Jeff may not be there, but I'm still excited to watch the Purple People Eaters try to get in the win column tomorrow. (*A classic example of a TVB-anything is asking people currently attending Ivy League schools where they go to college in a social situation. A friend of mine from home had so perfected the modest..."uhhh...ummm...I go to school in...ummm...Cambridge" routine which required an additional prompt from the asker to get the chosen response, we nicknamed it "Dropping the H-Bomb".) (**Not to mention, you opened the door for several other people who were to potentially make their own TVBPs. Good show!)

If anyone is interested in running shot charts tomorrow, please PM me. I may not be kidding. (I have to find a shot chart first lol)*
*Note that these shot charts in no way contribute or affect the "official" Kenner League scoring such as it might be.
**God help us all if we somehow compile enough quantitative data to run Sagarin, Pomeroy stats, Elo Chess, and the like.
***I'm tired of using asterisks and copping FLHoya's style. This is a site for GU folks. Can we get a footnote feature that enables us to post footnotes above our sig lines?

It's just that the footnote thing stuck out to me as extremely, um, nerdy. The Kenner stuff just seemed extremely, um, absurd, and I'm used to the absurdity on these boards by now.
