I was surprises Pittsnogle didn't go (guess his conditioning is awful, but that should not have stopped someone from drafting him because it is correctable), but give me a break with Gansey. He's a very good player, but you don't think there are a million Ganseys playing in Europe right now? As for all the prognasticators or experts, the NBA draft is probably one of the most difficult things to predict because (1) its constantly evolving right up until draft day, and (2) some teams draft based on talent and others draft based on need.
Regardless, I think Gansey will make a roster and stick around somewhere for a season or two.

some comments:
- love boz's gansey t-shirt comment. i was thinking about that as well - i wonder what he looks like on the court without the double tee.
- i'm being serious when I say you could make an argument that Gansey was the most athletic white guy in college basketball last year.
- still gotta wonder one more time what wouldve happened if Pittsnogle had gone straight to an IMG or some place similar after the season and they'd just worked his butt off. You have to believe he would've rocked his workouts and got drafted, no?
- I think Allan Ray isn't a legitimate pro prospect.
- How can you NOT like Novak in the pros? He's tall, can shoot the lights out and has the bonus intagible of looking EXACTLY like Lance Armstrong (why haven't other people mentioned this?) - these kind of things really count. I also don't get the people who are calling him Kyle Korver...

Novak is also 6'11". He isn't Kyle Korver. You must be thinking of somebody else, FOTP. Plus, Novak is a spot-up shooter. No ability whatsoever to create his own shot, or even dribble, for that matter.

Tall white guy who can shoot? How has no one dropped the Novak-Larry Bird comparison yet? 3 to 1 the first shot Novak makes in the NBA its dropped by an announcer within 5 minutes.

I'm shocked Gansey wasn't picked...I think he's a pro scorer and certainly a good enough athlete to make it.

I can't wait to see Ashanti drive past him in a Bundesliga game next year.
