Screw it. I'll watch but really, is this the best that Cooley can put on the court? Clearly opponents know we can't shoot 3s so just clog the middle. And they also know that move the ball and our defense will break down. We will be slaughtered by BE teams and WVU and Syracuse are probably drooling at the opportunity to play us.

Defense really fell apart when Sorber went out with foul issues. Hoyas need more Mulready time rather than Epps, when defense becomes a problem.
Shooting when Sorber is out falls off and St. Francis isn't keeping attention in the middle. If Fielder or Julius can get inside buckets and play inside and out it would help. They are open but only seen by Mack, Peavy, Caleb, and Mulready and get the ball in.
Burks struggles with lack of confidence and hesitation on offense and being a bit timid on defense isn't helping. These are the games he should just play and not overthink things.

Early in the broadcast, they do a sideline shot with the chiron of Ed Cooley with his record… But it’s not Ed. It’s assistant coach Kenney Johnson. All black coaches look the same. Bad job by director and camera man. You can’t font the wrong head coach. By the way, we haven’t used Chiron in over 20 years.

Are you listening to the halftime show? They are actually talking about this GU team in the same breath as the great teams of the 80's. Granted they have to hype the BE but this is ridiculous. You have supposedly one of the flagship BE teams being outplayed by St Francis. I feel bad for Fox that they are committed to showing our games.

Second half Sorber is back in and need to make use of him. Hoyas have advantage in the middle and need to use that advantage. Loved Sorber's defense and oddly was called for fouls on normal plays. A big with fast hands is golden.
A lot of outside shots taken with players not set.
Transition plays need to finish when Hoyas have advantage.
Someone needs to own Rosenberg and just sit on him and drift off him like Epps has been. Peavy played mature defense and stuck to him.

I think they are playing cards during the game as the halftime comments didn't relate to the game.

There we go, nice Peavy to Sorber inside pass with him open for a nice quick close bank shot.

It’s insane that Cooley didn’t even try to get a proven 3 point shooter. Left too many things up to chance going into this season Georgetown has tried this three straight years: Kaiden Rice, Bryson Mozone, Ismael Massoud. Zero for three.

The announcers are also deeply lost with what is happening on the court.

Great ball movement and kick from Peavy to Mack and then swing to a set wide open Epps. That is Epps strength, not the ball in his hands.

Sorber on Rosenberg in the 2nd half is a bit odd. Sort of working, but...

Finally a Fielder 3, smooth and no hesitation. He has a good stroke and mechanics when set. Getting him more comfortable and confident from makes will help.

Unless we up our D we will not be able to separate ourselves from these guys and just might lose to them.

Another wide open set 3 from Epps.
It did follow good defense by Epps, with a horrible guess and badly blown coverage.

Peavy's defense is so so good. Defends well with his feet and keeps really well contained. Caleb and Mulready are similar to Peavy, but not as mature.
