I'm sure we will learn that Santos is Trump's illegitimate son. Has to be.

Anyone want to explain how the racist and fascist MAGA GOP is not responsible for this? TIA. A Texas woman was ordered detained Wednesday after she was arrested and charged with threatening the federal judge presiding over former President Donald Trump’s election case in Washington, D.C. Abigail Jo Shry, 43, faces a charge of transmitting a threat to injure a person via interstate commerce, according to an affidavit signed by Joshua Henry, a special agent with the Federal Protective Service, part of the Department of Homeland Security. The affidavit, filed in federal court last week and first reported Wednesday by Bloomberg Law, alleges that Shry called U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan’s chambers on Aug. 5 and left a “threatening voicemail message” intended for Chutkan, who was randomly assigned to oversee Trump’s criminal case. “Hey you stupid slave,” Shry said before she referred to Chutkan using the N-word, the affidavit alleges. “You are in our sights, we want to kill you. … If Trump doesn’t get elected in 2024, we are coming to kill you, so tread lightly, b----.” “You will be targeted personally, publicly, your family, all of it,” she is alleged to have said. Shry also “made a direct threat to kill” Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, the LGBTQ community and unnamed Democrats, the affidavit alleges. www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/woman-arrested-allegedly-threatening-federal-judge-trump-election-case-rcna100320

Racism is simply in the DNA of the MAGA GOP. Black women organizers like Butler and former gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams helped deliver Georgia for Biden in 2020, a state Democrats had not won in nearly three decades. Black women were Biden’s strongest backers; 92 percent of them voted for him, boosting his margin against Trump, who lost by fewer than 12,000 votes. Black voters were also instrumental in flipping both Georgia Senate seats for Democrats, giving them control of the U.S. Senate. Since then, they have faced a backlash from conservatives, especially backers of the former president, who falsely claimed massive voter fraud in Georgia — Atlanta specifically — and demanded state officials reject the results. And so it begins. The masks, or hoods, are coming off. In Texas, a Donald Trump supporter is being held without bond on federal charges of threatening to kill U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan, who presides over the case against Trump for allegedly trying to overturn the 2020 election. Prosecutors said the suspect, Abigail Jo Shry, telephoned Chutkan’s chambers to make an explicit death threat and to call the judge, who is Black, a “stupid slave n-----.” I won’t repeat the vile epithet Shry allegedly hurled, but its plural rhymes with “RIGGERS” — a word Trump conspicuously used Tuesday, in all-caps, while ranting on social media about the “stolen” election. Trump’s wordplay was quickly echoed, and amplified, by acolytes posting on far-right online platforms. Meanwhile, in Atlanta, Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis, who filed a massive racketeering indictment against Trump and 18 co-defendants on Monday night (and is African American), also has received racist threats that include pictures of gallows and nooses. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/08/17/trump-supporters-threaten-judges-legal/

THAT's what's really offensive.

Just another corrupt hypocritical Texas MAGA GOPer. Yee Haw!! AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton used multiple cellphones and an alias on a ride-sharing app to conceal an affair, and pressured top aides to help a donor now facing criminal charges, according to new documents made public by investigators leading the impeachment of the embattled Republican. apnews.com/article/texas-ken-paxton-impeachment-942f457f14d4da408ec94e769efe4615

Remember the days when many of us thought Hillary calling these folks, "deplorable," was overly harsh and not generally accurate? Good times.

I'd say that the MAGA GOP operates like an organized crime family except that it is more like a disorganized crime family but still corrupt and amoral.

Just grab him by the crotch??? A senior board member of the parent organization behind the prominent Conservative Political Action Conference who resigned on Friday urged an independent investigation into additional allegations of sexual misconduct against Chairman Matt Schlapp. The vice chairman of the board of the American Conservative Union, Charlie Gerow, announced his resignation on Friday in a letter to other directors that called on them to authorize an investigation including any additional allegations that they or staff have become aware of, according to multiple people familiar with the letter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of retaliation. Earlier this year, Schlapp was sued for alleged sexual battery and defamation by a Republican campaign operative who claimed that the CPAC leader groped his crotch during a campaign trip last fall. Schlapp has denied the claim. In addition to that lawsuit, some board members and staffers have been told about other incidents involving Schlapp, 55, and two younger men, multiple people with direct knowledge of the situation said. www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2023/08/26/matt-schlapp-cpac-sexual-misconduct-allegations/

The GOP candidates are cowards lacking any integrity and fearful of the deplorable base of the MAGA cult. Republican race remains stuck as Trump dominates heading into fall Republican rivals of Donald Trump and their allies have run about $75 million in advertising, hosted hundreds of events, deployed small armies of door-knockers and staged a presidential debate with ratings akin to the NBA Finals. But they have little to show for any of it. The former president has continued to dominate the polls while racking up 91 felony indictments in four courtrooms, campaigning less than many of his competitors, skipping the debate and repeatedly slashing popular fellow Republicans. A majority of the national GOP electorate now tell pollsters they support Trump’s renomination after the first debate, up about 10 points from the spring. His closest rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, has watched his support cut in half from the 30s in March to now approaching the rest of the single-digit field. www.washingtonpost.com/elections/2023/09/02/trump-republicans-dominates-campaign/

Can "Republicans" like Abbott be any bigger pr*cks? Yee Haw! Texas must move floating border barriers in Rio Grande, U.S. judge says A federal judge on Wednesday ordered Texas to reposition floating barriers the state placed in the middle of the Rio Grande, rebuking one of the more contentious elements of Gov. Greg Abbott’s effort to deter illegal border crossings. The preliminary injunction granted by Judge David A. Ezra sided with the U.S. Justice Department, which filed a lawsuit in July arguing Texas had no authority to install a 1,000-foot-long segment of the spiked orange buoys in the river, an international waterway where the federal government has jurisdiction. www.washingtonpost.com/immigration/2023/09/06/texas-floating-barriers-abbott-rejected/
