Marvel Allen has been injured and hasn’t played in a game since July. His rankings drop is because recruiting sites have no clue what to do with talented guys that go through extended absences so they typically default to dropping them. There is very little documentation of a significant injury. Even if there was, that wouldn’t explain sliding all the way to the 120s.

I trust that when we play cuse, you wear orange, because that is the only color you should be wearing. You post slanted BS every day (DO YOU HAVE A JOB???) that not only hurts the program, but has ruined this site. That the mods do nothing about it is on them; that you comport yourself in the way that you do is on you.

The only documentation you need is that there hasn’t been a tweet about him playing in a game since July. If you tune into Montverde games you’d see he’s in street clothes in some of their pre-season matches. It absolutely does explain why he slipped - this happens every year to a talented player that misses a large chunk of time. He missed his AAU season almost entirely.

He played in AAU games for most of the spring/summer AAU season. It's not clear why he sat out preseason Montverde games - an injury hasn't been detailed. There could be all sorts of reasons he's sat out. Scouts that get paid to watch high school players have seen Allen for several seasons. They know how to evaluate kids incorporating off-court issues (including injuries). Allen's on his 4th high school. I highly doubt an undisclosed injury at the end of the summer before his senior year is the only reason he slid into the 120s.

It’s a good thing academics are no longer a priority for Georgetown basketball.

Boya - any particular reason for his tumble down the rankings? Injury? Performance? Why are you asking Boya? Any answer will have a negative take on the kid because he committed to GTown. Boya has been bashing this kid since there was a chance he might commit.

I don’t get you, man. Bizarre that you spend so much time on this board.

So no commentary Boya? Did Marvel play? If so what were his stats?

Coming off injury. Do you ever post anything that isn't negative or negative implications for GU? I have to presume you are happy with the state of affairs.

Give me something - anything - positive to report. The program is an unmitigated disaster and an embarrassment right now. It's a joke with how it is run. I can't think of one good thing to be hopeful about and bringing attention and getting angry about the mess it is in is a good thing. It's healthy. I went to G-town including 6 members of my family. If I had a son and he was really good at basketball and he asked me if I thought he should consider Georgetown, I would tell him absolutely not. I would tell the same to anyone I really cared about (who was really good at basketball and who had options to play elsewhere) the same thing.
