They posted something just about the same time HilltopHoops posted this. I believe this is what you're referring to? My take is that Hilltop Hoops is comparing the generic Georgetown tweet to actual interesting content from other Big East programs.

Personally, I don't use twitter so can't verify anything has or hasn't been posted there but HilltopHoops tweet mention "social content".

We will be better this year, but I’m not expecting a huge uptick in attendance.

We're projected to have the easiest non-conference schedule in the Big East.

We're projected to have the easiest non-conference schedule in the Big East. In the thread they state St John's but ours is the only other one in the 200 range. They also failed to include UConn but I would assume theirs is better.

St. John's has 1 more Quad 4 game than us, but when you add Quad 3 + Quad 4, we have 1 more Q3/Q4 games than St. John's. They're both very bad and the moral of the story is it will likely require Georgetown to go at least 11-9 in the Big East to have a chance at the NCAA tournament.

I always want a schedule where if we go .500 we make the tournament, and this year's schedule is not that. I think 11-9 or 12-8 would be necessary for an at large bid given that schedule (of course, the BET results matter too). And those 12 wins would have to include beating some high quality opponents. If you think your team is going to improve throughout the year, there's no reason to do this - it sets a bar that's very high for making the NCAA tournament even if our guys improve. While I think an NCAA bid this year is a shaky proposition anyway, I would have liked a schedule that put our guys in place where even a late run might get us close to an at large bid. With this schedule, if we have a bad Big East start, we are basically out of it barring BET heroics like in 2021. I really do not know who handles scheduling--my suspicion is that our Chief of Staff likely has a major role--but whoever handles it clearly doesn't get it. Ironic, since JT3 always had tough schedules and OOC opponents.

Ironic, since JT3 always had tough schedules and OOC opponents. Realistically in the world of a competent rebuild, getting to .500 in the conference is a good and important goal as it's a major first step to "getting back to where we were". Considering the strength of the big east it can be challenging to get there, so .500 should be able to get us into the tournament as demonstrated by plenty of other teams. OOC is one of the few things that can be somewhat controlled in a CBB season and that should not hold us back and too many quad 3/4 cupcakes does not only hurt the SOS but also does not challenge the team leading the conf season and can even reinforce bad habits that can win games against 300+ teams. This schedule makes losing the two best games pretty much lethal to tournament chances by having no quad 1/2 wins ooc unless we over perform in the conference (and starting on the back foot is not ideal)

We should totally believe the coach hyping his player.

We should totally believe the coach hyping his player. Kind of like when Ewing compared Kaiden Rice before last season to Chris Mullin and Reggie Miller? I just hope we don't have deja vu watching Wahab try to guard another big man out at the three point line. Didn't work out so well last time we saw that.

I didn't believe that either, just like I don't believe that Gillette is the best a man can get. The guy took more than 2 3pters in 5 games last year. Not exactly a stretch player.

Just in time for our game… after all, a Georgetown game cures all ills…
