Serious question. Is our talent that bad? or is our coaching that bad? or is it a combination? I would say a combo.

O.K. there's plenty to be frustrated about. But, if we're going to be real about everything that's wrong, let's be real about what's right. #1). we didn't score a basket for over 4 minutes and we were only down 8. 2) We're taking care of the ball better -- not perfectly, but better. 3) You say Seton Hall is playing terribly, and in spots they are, but you gotta give it up for our hustle and defense. Nothing's going perfectly or smoothly every minute, but you gotta like a good amount of what you see. It's not great, but it's not deserving of the hand-wringing and whining. And we still have 20 minutes to pull this off.
Second half. Please start Ryan. And stop Dante from driving to the basket. He made one nice one, but others were bad. If he wants to penetrate, option #1 should be to kick it back out. Tyler looks better, so we can rest the starting guards and be sure they can go the distance. Mostly, move on offense and create space and shots for Aminu, Don (quiet first half), and Kaiden.
Give the boys a break and let's see what they do second half. Let's go!

Depending on DePaul’s health, I’m not sure we’ll have a better shot at a win than tonight. Come on people - We are not winning another game. We may not stay within 10 points of anyone the rest of the year. We run no real offense or defensive schemes. It is pure playground basketball, played poorly. This is the worst Georgetown team in my 43 years as an intense fan, by a vast margin. This may well be the worst Big East team I've seen. This may well be the worst major conference team I've seen. Just an unmitigated disaster of a season. The talent is not good, but the special sauce that makes them terrible is the complete absence of scheme/organzation/intention on both ends. If there is a plan, it is terribly taught and poorly executed. I can't recall seeing a major conference team with so little basketball IQ. Just awful decision after awful decision. Sorry for all the complaining - but this first half is the moment that broke me. I have been on the "it's time for Ewing to go" plan for weeks. But until tonight, none of the poor play frustrated me. I just accepted that the team stinks. But playing a mediocre team that is playing terribly, at home - and still be completely unable to even keep the game close - it got to me, and I am actively angry at the team's performance for the first time this season. Yep, it’s very sad. SHU is absolutely reeling. They have no offensive identity. They are a hot mess…but they are way better than us. This GU team literally does nothing well…nothing.

Serious question. Is our talent that bad? or is our coaching that bad? or is it a combination? Our coaching is that bad. Do I think this roster as constructed could win the BE? No, but they’re not this bad. We look worse than some mid-majors but there is better than mid-major talent on the team.

Serious question. Is our talent that bad? or is our coaching that bad? or is it a combination? Talent is a bigger problem than coaching. The staff has experience and knows the game but they haven’t constructed a roster worthy of high D-1 basketball. And that’s on them.

The students heard PE jr, loud and clear.
It looks dreadful on TV, like DC is experiencing a blizzard with closed bridges and the metro is shut down.

We must shoot 30% from layup range.

This personnel is really, really bad…easily the worst in GU history. And they aren’t being well-coached on top. But I’m not sure a great coach could get this roster to .500 in league play. And that’s entirely the staff’s fault.

Ighoefe is unplayable. He turns the ball over at least 50% of the time he touches it, on either end of the court

Tim takes a charge. If I am going to call out the bad, I am going to call out the good.

Serious question. Is our talent that bad? or is our coaching that bad? or is it a combination? A combination but leans more bad coaching as even with a weak roster a coaching staff can form an identity, play real defense, and at least make it hard to beat. Also our talent being bad is a product of the recruiting choices of said staff and I do not think the talent is that terrible they just need instruction and direction with a game plan

Two plays for Tim, twice the ball gets stripped from him. It would be laughable if it wasn’t so sad.

This gumbo is taking way, way too much time. We need a version of instant gumbo…..or ez 15 minute gumbo.

Where is Ryan? He did pretty well before -- and Tim is a mess right now.
