The refs are letting us play! And I hear Pat barking hundreds of miles away…

Unless we find out Ryan got hurt, taking him out was a ridiculous coaching move.

Mental mistakes and sloppy play strike again in crunch time. Cannot win without composure. This team has neither composure nor any wins.

Just depressing. Again, not put in a position to win. Why not start Ryan instead of Tim at the half, at least give yourself a chance.

Well, Ryan M’s best game as a Hoya. He is starting to show up as the answer at 5 for next year.

The coaching decisions are getting more hilarious by the game.
I feel for the young men. They aren't being put in a position to succeed. Not even close.

We lead the conference in moral victories.

I will the guys a lot of credit. They almost pulled it out tonight. I don't understand the substitution patterns. They make no sense. Oh well. On to the St. John's

Rice is the worst kind of player - he gets hot once a month and tricks a coach into thinking he is playable. then he costs you any shot at a close game by firing up contested threes the instant the ball touches his hands, repeatedly. And of course plays horrific defense most of the time. although to his credit, his D has been better in recent games. Still awful, but better.
Rice belongs nowhere near the court for a major conference team, yet he plays crunch time for us. I think Rice is the Georgetown player I will be most happy to see complete their eligibility. Watching him play is such a deeply unpleasant experience.

It's a simple issue. When you are a program with a winning atmosphere you have confidence that you will make winning plays. When you are a program with a losing atmosphere you make desperate plays in the wild hope they will somehow succeed and help you win.
Losing breeds losing. That's where we are right now. Not gonna change this season. Starting to seem clear that only seismic shifts can change the atmosphere.

All I’m hoping is that all this suffering brings about a change sooner rather than later because this is just ridiculous. A winnable game, one of few we have remaining, and we give it away.

Last question of the night. How do the kids stay inspired by this coaching staff? For instance, Ryan has a great stretch of minutes tonight. Blocked shots, rebounds. Then he makes a bad pass and a mistake and he is back on the bench.

The token “I love what Pat is doing here” by another BE coach.
Of course! It’s a W for you!!!
It’s just like how much we loved Leitao, still Pat’s only winning record vs a BE coach at 4-3.
