St. Joes are running a lot of picks up top and low. They don't seem to be calling picks for each other. Most of our D problems seem to be communication...it should improve over time. I wonder if it's communication or scheme though...it has been a struggle for 5 years...this didn't just happen over night |

Dante has stepped up in the 2nd half but he is also a major part of the deficit. Dante is 2nd leading scorer with 12, 6 assists, 0 turnovers, and 3 steals. 2nd have Rice has stuck with his man and Dante has stopped chasing loose players running to the basket. Dante missed a bunch of shots in the 1st half. You have to take the criticism with the praise. |

In terms of leaving 3s open, I have other thoughts about that. |

Love it - we might squeak past St Joes! See this is the problem. You can’t give him proper credit but you’re always there without fail to knock him when he plays even remotely poorly. I think you’ve just dug your heels in so deep on this topic and don’t want to admit you were wrong about him. |

Realizing how much Pickett made a difference last year running defense in front of him and barking rotations and plays getting into position. Not sure how can fill that right now, or who could step into that. JBill is seems like he has the ball and defense IQ to do it, but hasn't had the game fully slow down for him to get to that level yet. Ryan may grow into that as well.

Timmy has had a very solid run here. If we got this version of him all the time it would go a long way. He is a raw player and still learning. Glad to see him have some success. |
