Start list for the Steeple final:
Parker has had an incredible season, and any honors that come tonight will be a cherry on top of a brilliant campaign. That said, he should be extremely confident in how he matches up with this field. I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Start list for the men's 1500m final: Same as I said above about Parker, Jack has already had an immensely successful year full of incredible PRs, conference titles, getting fouled by Sean Dolan , and making it to the highest level of college competition. But he has shown that there is no one in this field that he can't run with, and I'm excited to watch him go tonight!

Jack ran well with an inconsistent, uncertainly paced race. He made a big move with 450 to go, and was just behind the leaders at the bell. Seemed to tangle with Hocker a little on the turn, and Hocker and Nuguse are two of the best kickers in the country. Congratulations on earning All American honors, Jack!

Jack ran the last 800m in 1:53.47. However the first two ran the last 800m in 1:48! Both Hocker and Nuguse ran the last 400m in 52.xx.
Jack was there with a lap to go. I can't believe the splits on the first two. Sounds like an Olympic final. Great NCAAs for Jack!!!

Parker gets up for 8th! All-American for the freshman! Two great races in two nights for Parker. The final was tactical for the first 5(?) laps, and he made a great move on the 2nd to last lap to move back up into a scoring position and held on over a tough last time. Great race, my dude! Congratulations!

Parker was 6th at the bell. Scored a point for the Hoyas. It will be great to see how he advances during his years at Georgetown.

Like the 10000m the 5000m was fast as the first three broke the old meet record. Great time by Robert, especially coming back from the 10000m.
I think Track and Field News ought to fire the people ranking the projected top 10 runners in each event. The Hoyas all made the top 10.

Outstanding!!!
Each of the three Hoya men was an All American in their event (top 8).
While records are meant to be broken, Robert's 5/10K double is the fastest ever by a Hoya and sets a standard that may never be matched.
His 5K of 13:19 last night is 7 seconds faster than Rob Koborsi's 13:26 from 2006 that is listed as #1 in the Hoya record book.
And his 10K of 27:43 shatters the previous Hoya best of 28:24 by Dan Nunn in 2009.
Parker ran great and I know with his motivation, work ethic and smarts that he will win it some day.
Jack had a fantastic season and ran a superb race last night and held his own against a pool of future Olympians. He was right there for the whole race, but somehow lost position with a little over a lap to go, and had to expend a lot of energy to get back in it which may have cost him at the end. A 1:53 final 800 is otherworldly, let alone a 1:48.
Great job guys!

I was really impressed with Robert's 5k. He went out with Kiptoo through the 4:12 first mile, survived the surge from Kioko with 5 laps left. Robert's move to the front with ~1k to go was a great strategic move, knowing the kick of guys like Teare, Hocker, and Grijalva. 13:19 is amazing for a collegian; I'm really excited to see how Robert does this summer and moving ahead with his career.
It's been said by posters above, but this was an amazing 2 days for the Hoyas. 4 AA's and 13 points from 3 runners is outstanding and the team and coaches should be extremely proud of what they accomplished in what has been a tumultuous season amid an unimaginably f'ed up year and a half. I'm extremely proud of everyone in the program! Hoya Saxa!

Final scores have the Hoyas at 24th with 13 points. Some of the other big track schools: Oklahoma 27th, Arkansas 28th, UVA 28th, Arizona 30th, Ole Miss 30th, Iowa State 33rd (with their Kenyan contingent they were supposed to score many points in the 5000 and 10000), Notre Dame 34th, TCU 36th (speed city), Stanford 42nd, UCLA 50th, The Ohio State 57th, North Carolina 57th, Michigan State 62nd. And not scoring: Baylor (speed city #2), Butler, Cal, UConn (Big East champ), Illinois, Indiana, L'ville, Miami, UMD, Penn State (#1 in our region), Syracuse (haha), Villanova (haha), Wisconsin.
So we won the Big East entry and the Catholic school entry.
