I am sure some of you more dedicated Catholics will dispute this but...
It is very clear to me that God was not going to allow us to get back into the NCAAs until we reverted to these uniforms. All is right with the world and if we ever try to abandon our kente cloth identity, I will burn the Capital One Center to the ground (honestly, someone has to do it).

Someday. Still beats the teal, of course.

My only problem with the uniforms is when the referees wear solid black sleeves I have seen Hoya passes sail in the direction of these officials.
These referees need to be zebras and cut the crap. Nobody is there to see them. Since we will be underdogs throughout that means this actually could be an issue.
Forgive me if errant passes is a haunting issue.

They looked black on tv, vs blue. We’re they black? Alternate away jerseys presumably?
I imagine the guys will keep wearing them this week

We’ve always played well in black. Keep rolling in them.

I think the Iverson era jerseys are the best that Georgetown has ever produced. Typically, I prefer navy blue over black, but I don’t mind these ones. I really like the Kente too.
I also love that we’ve been in these road unis almost all of BET, and likely will all of NCAAs - contributes to our dark horse kind of feel.
If it were up to me, I’d keep this jersey style until the end of time. Just please, no more teal, ever, ever again.

Unless and until we win again the 1984 jersey is by definition the greatest uniform ever worn by the Hoyas.

That said, I reserve the right to change my version of logic entirely if we win a national championship wearing the teals. My favorite part of the "uniform" after the last game was the huge smile on every Hoya face. So psyched for our Hoyas.

It may just be nostalgia for AI and our appearance in "The Sixth Man", but I do not care. I love that we didn't even try to modernize it. The black version is also fantastic, and that's usually not the case for black alternates.

I remember in the mid-80s when we first came out in black warmups. At the time, it played right into our bad boy image. So intimidating and nasty.

I like the Navy blue color road jerseys. The ones we wore against Kentucky in 1984. Those are my favorite. It is like the us against the world type of vibe when we where them.
I really liked the ones we wore against WVA this year:
The Kente cloth ones are cool too.

They wore black unis during BET with kente cloth. They should not change those for any other games this year. Just keep rolling with them

I’m superstitious. Roll with the black uniforms until we go down.

Re the WVU game... Are home teams allowed to choose light vs dark now? Always had had the impression that home teams were always “light” (white/gray, usually) and away teams wore dark. But could be wrong.

I am a big fan of navy road uniforms and grey home uniforms, but you cannot mess with the magic of the black uniforms in this run. Go with the black and beat the Buffs.
