Also it’s becoming a real issue with independent voters according to polling. Republican messaging on issues, no matter how overblown or downright false it may be, seems to penetrate much deeper than Democratic messaging. I don’t know why, but it definitely seems to be the case in the current political climate. The Dems are terrible at messaging(I believe purposely) but it's really the "news" outlets that are at fault here. If every outlet calls it a crisis, folks will believe it... The Republicans have Fox News, Newsmax & OAN. There aren't any equivalent channels on the Dem side. Republicans also have influencers like Charlie Kirk, Ben Shapiro, Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, Glenn Beck. Again there aren't any equivalent types on the Dem side. Dear Lord. The three major networks are the DNC house band.

I guess you must not consider the hosts of virtually every nighttime talk show on network TV to be “influencers.”

The three major networks are the DNC house band. Seriously? When did you last watch a news hour from any of the above networks? Plus they're just corporate conglomerates consumed with their stock prices, they're not trying to alienate anyone. There's a reason right-wingers mainly complain about CNN & MSNBC which are also beholden to corporate interests 1st & foremost Reading this response I now fully understand why you're reluctant to name an "open border" Dem. DallasHoya I don't think Colbert is any type of influencer and he's by far the best of the bunch. Kimmel, Fallon, Corden ect. = trash. in my view

We know you hate them all, but if you had to rank them, who would you prefer between Biden, Kamala and Hillary? 🍿 Hemlock, arsenic or strychnine you say? Sadly, Biden might be the best because he is not actually running anything. If you tell me who really is, I might be able to answer better. Hillary is awful but not stupid. Kamala began her career under Willie Brown and should have stayed there. I'll play this game, obviously coming from a different perspective. I was never a big fan of Biden and he would not have been my choice in 2020. Nevertheless, I think he's done about as good a job as possible under the circumstances. That said, he would still not be my first choice of the three. I would take Hillary, followed by Biden and Kamala. Being in California, I've never cared much for Kamala, and still do not. I thought Karen Bass would have been a better veep choice, and still think so.

The state of the electorate is such that “I am not sociopath” is probably a winning slogan. I’ll say the same thing I said in 2020: if Biden can show up in the first debate and demonstrate that he doesn’t have dementia, he’ll win the election fairly easily. A Bridge Too Far. His opponent should ask him what day it is. He will Be even money not to know. This is absolutely ridiculous. Today. The problem is that it may not be ridiculous in four or five years, and that's damn scary.

As long as he does the demented whisper to his supplicant media it is all good. Anyone who says he is not gone is fooling himself. Who could have seen this coming? SS you missed this one from June 2021.

Do you also believe Obama is running the government? Are your news sources FoxNews, OAN & NewsMax?

Honest answer - I know I can’t tell you the date right now without checking my phone. hm Sorry to hear that. Luckily you don’t have the nuclear codes…. Funny. Right on cue the grifter in his speech before the NRA in Harrisburg yesterday he thought it was Saturday! And your ignorance of the military chain of command in order to launch a nuclear strike must rival that of your ignorance of the O & M of UH-60 Black Hawks! I take it you've never served in a hostile nonpermissive environment rendering legal advice to a two star general as I have. OTOH: "I can guarantee you, you can take it to the bank, that there'll be, that the nuclear triggers are secure and we're not going to do — we're not going to allow anything crazy, illegal, immoral or unethical to happen," Milley told her, according to a transcript of the call obtained by the authors. "The president alone can order the use of nuclear weapons. But he doesn't make the decision alone. One person can order it, several people have to launch it," he said later in the conversation. www.nbcnews.com/news/military/milley-acted-prevent-trump-misusing-nuclear-weapons-war-china-book-n1279187

Trump is not in office. Too feeble to prosecute is. Did you bother even reading the text of what Hur wrote? Dan posted a link. “Too feeble to prosecute” is a wildly inaccurate take that you keep repeating. Also, “Trump is not in office” is a woefully bad argument when they are both running for president. Making comparisons between them is just a common sense thing to do.

Also of note is the clear distinction Hur draws between the Trump case and the Biden case. Despite the idiotic claims of a two-tiered justice system (if anything Trump has been allowed to get away with WAY MORE in court and out than any other defendant in history), anybody with even a modest capacity for critical analysis can see the obvious differences between the two cases.
