While I get that Gtwn did not cause this--if its even true, however it seems that Gtwn has more than its share of bad incidents with athletes. We really should not be more careful lecturing others re our standards and approach, especially since very rarely is anyone at Gtwn held to any accountability.

A Georgetown University football player charged with murder is disputing allegations from police that he orchestrated a robbery this summer that ended in the fatal shooting of a man in Northwest Washington.

Attorneys for the 21-year-old wide receiver and college senior, Dijon Williams, made this argument in successfully asking a federal judge to release the young man from jail and into the custody of his parents in Georgia, where he grew up, as he awaits trial in the District.
