You've said this before, but there's really no evidence of this other than speculation (and I agree Jalen was horrible, but that hasn't kept Ewing from playing similarly horrible people). Jalen Harris, before he left, played more than 20 minutes each game: 26, 28, 30, 25, 27. The only way your story works is if we knew for sure that Ewing had a sit down with Harris and told him Dante was going to take more minutes. And we have in indication that happened, unless you have inside information? Before Jalen left Dante was shooting 35% and 25% from 3. In the last game before Jalen left Dante had 1 assist and 3 turnover. To think Jalen was told Dante would eat into his minutes, especially knowing everything we now know about Ewing, is a fairy tale. Feels like you are selectively leaving out some stats here. Before disappearing, Jalen Harris shot 25% from the field, including 17% from 2. He did make 4 of 11 3s. In the final game they played together (Friday, 12/11 vs Villanova), Dante did have 1 assist and 3 turnovers like you metioned. He also shot 4 of 7 from the field and finished with 9 points in 13 minutes. In that same game game Jalen had 2 points and 4 turnovers in 27 minutes. To that point, Jalen had made 7 shots - total - through five games. Dante actually made more 2pt shots in that Villanova game - FOUR - than Jalen had through five games (3 of 17). So two days later Jalen is out with 'back spasms'. Dante has a great game and is BE POTW. Ewing then said on Friday 12/18 that Jalen is out for a 'family issue'. 'Family issues' were also what was said when Qudus missed a few game this season. He did not regain his starting spot upon returning. It's not too hard to squint and see the same thing may have happened with Jalen. Jalen just chose not to come back.

So you can squint hard enough to see Patrick Ewing choose the ⭐️ freshman who was bad over the senior who was bad? We must have been watching different Patrick Ewings for the past 6 years.

Would be a great fit with the way Coach Holloway plays, especially on the defensive end.

Would be a great fit with the way Coach Holloway plays, especially on the defensive end. Anyone more plugged in know if there have been any discussions between Cooley and Riley about staying and Jordan is just exploring other options? Seems as if Anglin has had more frequent updates on potential landing spots.
