His highlights remind me so much of LJ. I can't wait for him to get on campus. B&G how does Aminu compare to Jordan just based on athleticism? Jordan, Aminu, Sibley and Tyler with Dante pushing will lead to a lot of posters.....

Riley handles the ball pretty well- that is a huge plus.

Jordan, Aminu, Sibley and Tyler with Dante pushing will lead to a lot of posters..... Based on what I’ve seen, Aminu is plenty athletic but that’s not really his game. Aminu is really really well rounded in just about every aspect of the game (hence the five star status). Jordan is slightly newer in terms of his commitment to basketball, so he relies on his athleticism to make plays. Once the competition is improved that will inevitably be something to adjust to for him, but you can see in game he continues to work on the little things and improve by the day Just on the athleticism question, I think he is the most athletic player we have had since Whittington at least. Bowen was obviously a great athlete too but in game that only showed up on the dunks.

You believe Whitt was/is more athletic than LJ? I would say more versatile but I don't believe we have had a more athletic player than LJ since Vic.

Whitt was super athletic before his injury. Best GU defender since Boubacar.

He has Bowen's explosiveness but is a much smoother athlete than AB.
Aminu is an above average athlete. Riley is top tier athletically. Not many kids in his class are as athletic as him, but how effective he will be long term is really going to come down to how his skills develop. I think you'll see glimpses of what he could become his Freshman year, but the hope is by year 2 he starts to mature into a basketball player. Right now he's an athlete that plays basketball.
Aminu would arguably be the best player on the team rn.

I"M NOT COMPARING THE TWO, but has anybody else noticed his mannerisms are Kobe-esque?? Mannerisms like Kobe, game like Mike.... I'm serious when I compare his game to a young Mike Jordan, we can only hope. Kobe copied the mannerisms of his idol Michael Jordan, remember early in his career he would wag his tongue like Mike and I would imagine that Kobe is one of Jordan Riley's basketball idols. Michael Jordan-->Kobe Bryant--> JordanRiley

This was from last week... n.rivals.com/news/ballstar-open-run-top-performersJordan Riley (Brentwood)-The 6’4” senior was almost unstoppable shooting from the outside and in the paint. The future Georgetown Hoya dropped a game-high 39 points and should be an impact in the BIG EAST once he gets on campus.

Riley and Aminu could be one heck of a tandem. Can’t wait to have them both on campus.

And both are highly committed and tough on the defensive end...
