He's going to be really good. 12 of 14 from 3... 6 of 7 from FT... We’ll take it!

Does a nice job of holding his follow through.

Sure would hope he'd be #1. Not a ton of bball talent in Long Island at the moment.

Not similar players but that clip made me think of JYD. And, man oh man did I love me some JYD. One of my personal all timers, regardless of numbers.

His first time dunking was in 7th grade gym class over his friend in a 5v5 😂

He's "strictly business", were gonna love this kid!
Reminds me of a popular duo from Long Island.

Man of few words. Reminds me a bit of LJ Peak. Lots to like in his responses though, and he seems like the type that is going to let his play on the court do the talking. My favorite line was when Zach asked if there was a second choice for him besides Georgetown and all he said not at all. It seems like a big thing for him was watching the freedom we gave Akinjo and McClung, I would bet Riley gets a similar level of deference from day one unless someone else in our 2020/2021 classes really surprises.

Jordan Riley (#12 in orange) vs. Malachi Smith (#1 in black)

Something else to like - he's not slight. I don't know exactly what kind of shape he's in (vs his own peak), but that's not a small guard.
Beard, Riley, and Aminu starting at the 1/2/3 in '22-'23 would be hunting down titles.

I have never seen him play in person...but would like to get some thoughts on what his ceiling might be and what a comp might look like for him. Is he more Jabril or LJ Peak? I’ve heard coaches on the staff say he’s more Myron Gardner than anyone. Not sure exactly what that means though....a raw talent with explosive athleticism perhaps? I can tell you if he is Myron with more dog in him and more maturity....we should all be very happy.

If Jordan comes in is Myron I'll be a little disappointed. I was expecting closer to LJ on the LJ-Brilly scale. And I believe Brilly was a better talent than Myron.
