So with the option to graduate, move up a level in competition, and also come back to the DC area, I can definitely understand the appeal of this transfer. I think a lot would have to go wrong this season (in terms of his role on the team or his relationship with the coaches/players) for him to consider transferring again. Student athletes have five years to play four seasons. Absent a medical redshirt or a waiver, his eligibility ends in 2021-22.

But the scenario I was responding to was that since he has already graduated he could theoretically transfer after the 2020-21 season as a grad transfer and not have to sit out a season, so he would be playing the 2021-22 season at a different school. I was simply trying to explain the reason behind his first and second transfers, and why I think it's unlikely that he would transfer a third time.

Right, but he's a grad transfer, so .... 2017-2018 Mount Saint Mary's 2018-2019 Sit out 2019-2020 Siena 2020-2021 Georgetown 2021-2022 ? ? ? ? Unless I'm missing something, he could play for four different colleges?

What number will Don take this year since Blair has 0 on lock. He teased 2 in his intro video. I wouldn't mind another 5, have we had a guard in the 5 uniform since Chris Wright? Am I getting really feeble or didn’t Wright wear number 4? Those are not mutually exclusive.😉

I caught Carey in a workout session and had no idea his build is rather similar to Mosely. On film in pictures from Sienna he looked thinner. Not sure about height as he was working with a Big East 7 footer (not a Hoya).

4 year degree in 3 years.
Georgetown kind of academic commitment!
Congratulations Mr. Carey from a Hoya fan who lives 5 minutes from Siena, I know how hard you had to work.

How many guards is that we have? It seems like every time I look at the thread there's another guard committing.

Not really that many. Plus Riley and Beard next year... so yes, lots of names, but only 5 right now, plus 2 walk-ons. And Beard originally committed for this year, before opting to PG a year and arrive in 2021 instead. Easy to see how things could be confusing for the good Doctor
