This might be a hard sell tho because how much playing time can you even guarantee him his first year behind a senior tim, and sophomore Ryan? Unless you can make the pitch that you can get 5-10 minutes a game at best if he is good enough and then the next year he will be sharing time with Ryan assuming Malcolm and tim leave after 4 (which I could see them using their bonus year to be the major starter at a mid) Well, a freshman working for playing time as opposed to being handed it is actually a good thing. Yes it might lessen our chances with him but if he has that mentality he’s not good enough anyway. Let’s hope he’s more competitive than that and more realistic. Just because some freshman can contribute early doesn’t mean that all can.

You never want to pass on interested talent, but can't imagine a top 100 player we need less (right now).

I saw him listed some place else as a forward...if he has the mobility and developing skills to play the big forward position, he may become much more attractive as a roster addition...

Big fan of Aire. He’s going to totally dominate the WCAC this year. Really hope we get a commitment. Think he’s a future pro.

A more fluid athlete than both Tim and Ryan. Ewing could do some damage with this kid. Offensively how does he compare to Q? I think he's more athletic and he has touch. He's totally off balance on many of the shoots, but still finds the rim, softly. I think he would improve immensely under Hoya tuteledge, gaining better footwork, developing more patience, and improving his jump shot; he has a short jumper.

So is he a pf/c or just a C bc I have seen both C all the way. I would agree, given his athleticism his ceiling is high. He is very defensive oriented, he has long arms, is quick, and has the semblance of a jump shot, and hook shot. This is only based on the video everyone has access to.

Center Head coach Chris Mack must have a lot of confidence in both Gabe Wiznitzer and Roosevelt Wheeler long term, because Favour Aire still remains the only offered center. The 6-foot-11, 215-pound big man would be a solid get, ranking as high as the No. 59 prospect in the nation by 247Sports. Considering assistant coach Mike Pegues is is lead recruiter, as was the case for Wheeler and Jae'Lyn Withers, Louisville has to feel like they are in a good position here. www.si.com/college/louisville/basketball/2022-big-board-20

Think this is supposed to say NLI not NIL fwiw.
Since he hasn't been on an official here I don't like our chances.
