What I find really impressive about these highlights is that he would be a sophomore in High School in those clips. When I first watched I thought he had some impressive highlights but really needed some polish on his game. When you think that he is now just going into his Junior year, he has plenty of time to add that polish. He plays with passion and does not seem intimidated playing against some older kids who are also really good players. He could turn into a real force by the time he gets to college. Great to see the Hoyas are already on him hard.

He's impressive.
If he gets a little bit bigger/taller this year... he's going to be a tough get.

All we have to do us win consistently and impressively. He is mobile and has skills. He would develop significantly with coaching. He looks confident.

Exactly, start winning consistently and it would not hurt for Q to develop into a legit NBA player. Show that Coach Ewing can coach guys up and get them into the league.

Wahab is the most important player Ewing has had in his tenure. Pretty major local recruit who chose the Hoyas over some decent competition, should be the most important player on the team this year. If Qudus can show enough to get drafted next year, Pat can start making all the Big Man U claims he wants. Next up Ighoefe and Mutombo and then the floodgates could open.

Thats not impossible. so many have been drafted with less performance experience. So many big guys sit on the bench for years in the pros. College is better experience, but doesn't pay as well in the short run. Just my opinion. Also, Wahab looked hungry last year. Let's see what he does this year, or next year.

This might be a hard sell tho because how much playing time can you even guarantee him his first year behind a senior tim, and sophomore Ryan? Unless you can make the pitch that you can get 5-10 minutes a game at best if he is good enough and then the next year he will be sharing time with Ryan assuming Malcolm and tim leave after 4 (which I could see them using their bonus year to be the major starter at a mid)

A more fluid athlete than both Tim and Ryan. Ewing could do some damage with this kid.
