Thank you, Georgetown Basketball Alumni. I’m not surprised by the men’s basketball alumni since Big John days against racism and social injustice.

I would really love to here Coach John Thompson Jr.'s thoughts during these times. He always had a way to cut through the BS & give it to you straight & factually! A GREAT LEADER OF MEN!
In a way we are hearing his voice through his former student athletes response to these times via the tweet from the Basketball Alumni above....

Any statement on the David Dorn murder? Read statement above. Murder is murder and when they catch that sick MFer he'll be tried and convicted. Justice for all.

Any statement on the David Dorn murder? This is called WhatAboutism. It brings up a different issue to distract from the first issue. It's often used scurrilously to imply that the people who advocate for the first issue don't care about the second. It's kind of a coward's way of disagreeing with the first issue without coming out and saying so.

Reflective of the author's personality, perhaps.

Reflective of the author's personality, perhaps. Not weighing in on this debate that’s clearly going to lead to a clear understanding on both sides once hashed out completely. Rather, just wanted to confirm my eyes are reading that you used the phrase “supercilious equivalency” to suggest that *someone else* was feeling arrogant / superior?

Great video and I like the timing of it too. A lot of teams had their cute statements in early June when a lot of stuff was going down and then just moved on with life. Glad to see that's not the case with Georgetown.

So when you have important content and message, it gets the views, retweet’s, etc. hm

Glad to see that's not the case with Georgetown. Coach Ewing speaks from experience and from the heart here You are right, Coach doesn't have to make a public statement on everything, all the time. He picks and choses, that way when he makes a statement, people take notice. Coach lived it and he comes across as being extremely sincere. No one is perfect, but Coach can teach lessons regarding life both on and off the court. Parents and players have the right to attend the University of their choice, but if I had a 7 foot son, that knew how to handle rock in the low post....
