I like this kid. He plays his role and plays it well.
How you contribute, be it big or small, you contribute and help the team.
That is Hoya basketball. Props to Collin.

Comes in; contributes; plays intelligently. The moment never seems too big for him. Well done staying ready.

I haven't rewatched Saturday's game, but in the moment I remember Damien Jefferson going almost out of his way to attack Holloway a few possessions in a row and he held his own pretty well

Gonna be a nice piece of the puzzle for the next 3 years.

For the few times he shot from outside the paint this season, Collin has a very smooth looking stroke. Let’s hope he develops and becomes a bigger piece of the puzzle.

Is anyone else like me and praying he doesn't enter the portal?..I really want him to develop and contribute as a hoya. I think he has so much potential as a high IQ multi positional player who does everything well. It'll be tough next season to get burn with all the additions and potential additions but if he comes in having worked on his body and conditioning (because everything else is there) it'll be even tougher to deny him.

I like his stroke and his IQ. In absolute terms I want him to stay. If we need his schollie for Baldwin then no. It's all relative.

He may have been the second fastest on the team after Dante this year. Holloway’s defense is quite good, has really good footwork on defense and can cover 1-4 with ease and cause problems. His ball IQ is high and showed he is a good smart passer, with a good sense to pass to a better shot. He is good on the boards and shooting. I would think he gets some minutes this upcoming year no matter what the team looks like.

I didnt see enough of him to make an assessment. Nothing stood out to me except I don't recall anything bad happening while he was in the game. He is sort of a wide body! That's it.

I liked what I saw from this young man and believe that he can contribute over time with lots of hard work.

We don't win the Villanova game without his effective minutes against JRE. Not sure what the future holds but he helped contribute to the Big East title.

Not enough of a sample one way or the other for me. Collin appears to be a fundamentally sound player with some strong post moves, for a somewhat undersized big man. It appears his biggest limitations are that he is not an elite run/jump athlete and may struggle with the speed and quickness of the Big East if he played more. There is usually a spot for guys like Collin on most teams as a guy who is capable and willing to do the dirty work around the rim. The issue may be that it appears the staff is trying to make the entire team more athletic and wants them to play at a faster pace and play in transition as much as possible. If that is the direction the team is going, then it might impact the playing time available to a player like Collin.

His low center of gravity gave JRE fits in the Big East tournament. He made several ‘winning’ plays.

He definitely had his moments as his physicality is quite up there which was great to see Ewing making active changes in the moment to counter nova especially to see their frustration caused by Collin
